It was a one-sided final last year - Carlos easily beat Daniil. This year I suspect it will be more competitive. I predict Carlos will win in three sets. If Medvedev wins, he will have won a title in seven of the nine Masters 1000 tournaments, which is an impressive achievement.
Same old ez win. Carlos is a level above Jannik and Danil and they are the 2 best at the moment apart from him and novak.

Medvedev, Rublev and Khatchanov;;;;they are great but Alcaraz, is something else in the tennis world; just very special!!
Musetti will lose to the Joker every time they play from now on,
but Djokovic is still the GOAT and will be retiring at the end of this season as will Rafa.
Sinner and CA are the new kings of the sport on the men's side.

Is it just me or are the commentators actually shit? It’s the final of a master yet I don’t feel any enthusiasm from them. It’s just so boring to hear. Amazing match tho:)
When a final is that lopsided it would be impolite to praise the victor a lot. Also it sounds as if the main announcer is British. The Brits are known not to be effervescent or skittish and rarely have fits.

Medvedev is a mental giant while he plays but other than that he doesn't have any x factor in his game..His shots are very very weak as compared to this new gen players as well as his game is very much bore to watch..
I hoped, that this year WTA/ATP/ITF, would stop this nonsense of mixing sport with politics.
Every player should have right to play under her/his country's flag. One cannot choose the country of one's birth.

USA invaded Iraq in 2003 and yet their flag was still allowed at the World Cup 2006 in Germany and 2010 in South Africa despite the fact they were still in Iraq.
Either ban ALL flags of countries who go to war, or don't ban any of them.
Interestingly enough Israeli tennis players Mika Buchnik and Guy Sasson are allowed to play under the national flag in AO 2024 despite the policy of their government towards Palestinians in Gaza.
