This year especially Alcaraz's extraordinary progression & game quality (especially on grass) has been a 'dream beaker' for players like Medvedev ,Tsitsipas & others to realize they might not be able to win such a top tournament anytime soon..with his young age & unbelievable progression in his game , I don't see Alcaraz letting anyone beat him again...he will barely leave them 'crumbs'..
They shld try beating Novak on his way out. They were given the chance b4. Krygios, AO and FO when carlos only loss due to cramps. This could b a ploy fr djoker camp.
Carlos has the mental mettle and the physical talents to be great. This match showed just how intense his mental game is. And he's just getting better. That new slice backhand is a natural knife on rhe grass. Thank you Martina❤

I dont think Alcaraz has any resamblance to Federer, to be honest. He doesnt have the classic graceful game that roger showed on the tour. Alcaraz's is a full modern topspin game, very similar to nadal. In my opinion he is the mix of Nadal and Djokovic, but better than both of them.

Medvedev isn’t going to beat Alcaraz unless he changes his game plan. Carlos is too fast, he can get to the net very quickly, and he’s too good with the drop shot. He hasn’t won a set off of him the last 2 times they played.

Been watching tennis for a long time. I think people are very quick to find next multi-Slam winner. I mean he's got big game but not big enough. I assume Medvedev will spend the off-season working on his court positioning.
He just won't improve on any non hard court surface. He reached the Wimbledon semis because the draw was very kind to him
