Thank you Carlos's parents for bringing him to the world 🙏🏼🙏🏼
thank you for the good laugh
Just when I saw I will not watch Tennis post Federer retirement. Suddenly This 19 yr Lad came and said Hold my beer
I'm with you mate ☝🏽
same
He is the mix of Nadal and Federer
I dont think Alcaraz has any resamblance to Federer, to be honest. He doesnt have the classic graceful game that roger showed on the tour. Alcaraz's is a full modern topspin game, very similar to nadal. In my opinion he is the mix of Nadal and Djokovic, but better than both of them.
@@Nickreds20no he’s really aggressive like Federer, Nadal and djokovic weren’t as aggressive
@@Nickreds20he has Federer's touch at the net, and drop shot finesse
@@Nickreds20I'd have to disagree. He does posses the feel and touch of Roger and is able to do things with s racket that is rarely see. He also hits the ball very flat at times. He claims that his role model and idol was Federer. I see no comparisons to any of them much at all . He brings a very unique, explosive style of play that I've not seen before and I've been a fan of the sport for longer than I'm willing to admit.
This year especially Alcaraz's extraordinary progression & game quality (especially on grass) has been a 'dream beaker' for players like Medvedev ,Tsitsipas & others to realize they might not be able to win such a top tournament anytime soon..with his young age & unbelievable progression in his game , I don't see Alcaraz letting anyone beat him again...he will barely leave them 'crumbs'..
They shld try beating Novak on his way out. They were given the chance b4. Krygios, AO and FO when carlos only loss due to cramps. This could b a ploy fr djoker camp.
7:17 What a forehand he did in this point!
Carlos has the mental mettle and the physical talents to be great. This match showed just how intense his mental game is. And he's just getting better. That new slice backhand is a natural knife on rhe grass. Thank you Martina❤
Many more wanted novak to lose than win including Martina. I for one prayed he wud win. Always for d humble guy. His grunt like a martial artist that wud chop bricks. For d womens' its OG monica who started it all. The new grunters are awful.
What a beatdown good for Carlos
If Alcaraz does not suffer any injuries..,I don't see how older players like Tsitsipas & Medvedev and other could beat him anytime soon..like Djoko said 'they' were all amazed (and concerned.!!) how incredibly fast ,he progressed on all surfaces (especially grass) since last year..
Carlos ❤
Since I saw him when he start playing in 2017 I say to myself this kid is going to be great, he had about 5k follower since then I started following him, I fall in low with his game, I always dream of a player with the 3 big guys techniques, and I saw that in carlos, plus he enjoy competing but sane at the same time, I hope he doesn’t change
Medvedev is one of the very few active players that have beaten Djokovic, and Alcaraz made him look like he had no chance....and he didn't.
He earn points on hard court session
Alcaraz is my idol
First and congrats to alcaraz and all the best on today's final Hope u win it
🎉 he won
@@japnamsinghbrar He won but boy it was tough, just about got the edge and held his nerve in the 5th set- I hope it gets easier from here- and he gives Novak the mental blocks!
@@pauljohnson6019, I think it will. DJokovic has lost the "free nerves set" advantage forever, I'm afraid.
Top Draw Highlights..
That was scorching 🥵
last shot 🙈♥️♥️♥️💜
He has a striking resemblance to federer slice backhand
I have the feeling Medvedev with the younger generation will be the new Cilic. Mid top player filling the draws.
Well there is only 1 winner , everyone else is just filling the draw.
@@Southpaw101 There are winners and favourites, and the rest. That's what I mean.
What do you say now? Medvedev in two slam finals after this and Alcaraz in none. Maybe you shouldn't underestimate the best player of his generation? People don't learn anything.
Great match 👏👍🎾😍
Medvedev was clueless😮
Medvedev isn’t going to beat Alcaraz unless he changes his game plan. Carlos is too fast, he can get to the net very quickly, and he’s too good with the drop shot. He hasn’t won a set off of him the last 2 times they played.
Of course I’m wrong
I wish these so called commentators would pronounce names properly. So irritating!!!!🙄🙄
I assume Medvedev will spend the off-season working on his court positioning.
He just won't improve on any non hard court surface. He reached the Wimbledon semis because the draw was very kind to him
Medvedev had no game plan .
Staying far on return not doing anything.!
😮
Alcaraz ❤✌

Poor Medvedev, after this match he must have thought about retiring from tennis
What about now?
Still dreaming 💟
In another part of the world Fed just played his semi finals with NADAL and beat him in 4 sets, setting up his 9th final at Wimbledon at the age of 41.
Age 37 year and 11 month
Haven't seen a talent like him since novak djokovic
2011 Novak 💯
I've never seen a talent like him, and I've seen Jimmy Connors' arrival and then Borg, MacEnroe, Lendl, Becker, Sampras, Agassi, Federer, Nadal and Djokovic. He is better than all of them.
@@robert111k Better than Federer? I think not- peak Roger still barely better!
@@robert111kCarlos is an upgrade in each 1 of them. Borg1st did d topspin lob. He got each of their strengths. Good coaching! He is d only 1 i saw who is fond of dropshots. When i started, oldies love 2 give drops. U have to run. I do drop it in front of me, so i can cut angles nor d lob.
@@pauljohnson6019way better then fed, fed is the 3rd greatest
its not medvedev best game just like a practice game hes not exerting his best effort just hitting the ball to make it end quickly so obvious. 😊😊😊
Of course we assume when somebody loses it was not his best game, _ça va sans dire._
Been watching tennis for a long time. I think people are very quick to find next multi-Slam winner. I mean he's got big game but not big enough. As he age, his serve will diminish. he is serving at 100% now, which is not sustainable. He is essentially a young Nadal with right hand forehand and bigger serve cus that's his natural hand. I dont know if that's going to cut it. They play exactly the same way
Broke Medvedev 6 times, wouldn't say his game is reliant on his serve
Have you ever watched a tennis match?
