It looks like Alcaraz is born for Tennis. His tennis reflexes are so natural. Gifted tennis player. Bad luck to Meddy. He might be too tired with his last match. Not having sufficient energy to play with best Alcaraz

    • @sherry8339

Meddy always has an unfavorable schedule, playing most of the night sessions or very late night sessions in many tournaments, then the next important one is at an earlier time, messing up his rhythm. When margin is thin, physical exhaustion and body rhythm play a role in performance. Not taking away anything from Alcaraz, but Meddy did seem exhausted. The Maruszan and Zverev wins were pivotal in this title run. His comeback agaist the undefetead this year, Sinner, was enough to cement Alcaraz's confidence to the highest peak. Carlos when he dials down the showmanship and controls all his talent is just head and shoulders over the rest. He was riding too high on the invincibility feeling that he had lost Wimbledon and just overplayed in a lot of his recent losses.
Today and yesterday, it’s was clear again why he’s the natural heir the big 3.
You can see how his height is just perfect for tennis, like Federer, not too tall / not too short / so he can produce ballet like movement dancing through shots that these tall players like Med or Jannick can never compete with. He can dance in and out of corners in ways that just make him so fun to watch.
Bravo to him for fighting the demons and getting back on track with his first title since Wimbledon.

Daniil’s serve keeps letting him down over and over again this season. Instead of staying clutch in crucial moments and holding on the serve, he makes those double faults or can’t make a single first serve in, which is one of the main reasons the players can have a close battle with him. The numbers don’t lie too, his serve is far from his best compared to the rest of the quarterfinalists. He admitted he was struggling with something serve-wise, hope he figures it out one day. For a tall guy like him, he must be a much better server than he is for the last two years
