What a town , as always a great video!!!!😊
Thank You!! It is very interesting how they chose this town. Coming from riding my bike in Europe it kind of baffles me.
I love province town and I love Massachusetts it’s my home state
Provincetown is such a beautiful place with such a vibrant community. I do love Massachusetts, it is a special place not only do a lot of my family live in Massachusetts, but I love the beaches, bicycling, glorious sunsets, and sweet towns with interesting histories. Thanks for sharing your love.
looks nice but i didn't see any protected bike lanes in the city center .
Yes, you are right. That main street had some cars but it mostly had bikers and walkers. I think what makes it one of the best places to bike is that they are always trying to improve the area for bikers.
Love it! Any town/ city/ state, whatever, that at least acknowledges cyclists as a viable part of the community are greatly appreciated! This town is amazing!
Thanks! One thing I forgot to add was the bike share program (Coast) leaves helmets on the bikes for you to use. I have never seen this in any other town or city.
@@RideandShineBicycling that is so convenient!!!
Number 2 after The Hague? I call bullshit! ANY town or city or village in The Netherlands or Denmark has better infrastructure for bikes.
Yes for US standards this is very very good and I love it, but let's keep it real!
You are right. It does not compare!
Thanks for watching!
It's a shame bicycles gets all the attention and is still the standard, because it's 2023, there are tons of other personal vehicles (often electric) that people can have.
I think we included e-bikes in this equation. This was from a bicycle organization that rates cities on their infrastructure and we (ride and shine bicycling) are bike dorks, so of course we want all the attention. Thanks for your comment!
@YeeLeeHaw Right, any cycleway can be accessed by mobility scooters, wheelchair users, trikes, folding bikes, gravel bikes, scooters, pedestrians, all have the possibility to be electric, at least that is the common use in the Netherlands. What Americans still do not understand is the reason to extend bicycle infrastructure: The more cycleway the more space the car gets. It is bonkers to drive a mile in a 5000+ lbs vehicle for a pint of milk. But hey, keep building parking spaces.
Great point! Thanks for sharing@@Paul_C
