The young and energetic Kuppaikaaran team believes that nothing is a waste and nature is the biggest example of the circular economy. Having a combined experience of over 8 years in the waste, environment, and energy sector, we have successfully organized the first edition of “International Waste, Energy and environment expo” on 20, 21, and 22 December 2019 in which Mr. Madhusudhan Reddy Deputy commissioner of Greater Chennai corporation Inaugurated the Expo.
The biogas plant produces cooking gas from leftover food/vegetable/organic waste through the process of anaerobic bacterial digestion. When the dung is mixed with equal amounts of water, after digestion the composition of slurry is recorded as: water 93% and dry matter 7%. The Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K) are the most required nutrients to the plants. NPK content in liquid slurry is 0.25%, 0.13% and 0.12% respectively.
