'Be the River' by Enchanted Duo [Lyrics/Art Video] ✨ Ambient Rock

Ambient rock music that takes hold of your soul and won't let go. 'Be the River' is a meditative rock song that came to life in the name of healing.
➡️ @DivineAlchemy33 called for a collaboration to do a piece of epic music and this prompt appeared in our feed on FB. "Something in the same vein as Rok Nardin" the request said. Knowing that composing something like this would be a great challenge, Anneli started drafting with drums and synths in Cubase. We'd never attempted to compose music like this before, and since we weren't sure what all it would contain we went for many instrumental parts forming the musical body of the river of inspiration. Anyways, sometimes the Universe is on your side and not more than a day later we were half way through the recording and there was no turning back.
➡️ To kick off the project we put together a playlist to find inspiration for the song. The first track to be added was BrunuhVille's 'The Wolf and the Moon' which is such a powerful piece. For the aesthetics we looked for names like of Aurora, Marya Stark and of course some metal bands as they tend to touch upon the fantasy theme more often. ➡️ This is also our first contact with the extremely talented drummer@OfficialMinnemann (The Aristocrats, Paul Gilbert, Steven Wilson, Kreator). After the Dream Theatre audition video had put him on our radar we reached out to him and got him to play TWO drum kits! on this song. We also had it co-produced to get some help with the orchestral arrengement.
➡️ So indeed it was a challenge and with the risk of being over-cooked. But after two studio mixes, a lot of thinking and then Christine's (Zema's Healing/Divine Alchemy) healing frequency work like the foam on the river... Funny how some steps of the way can feel easy and others challenge you greatly...
