this is fantastic, Peter Parker only gaining his powers by accident, this makes total sense with one of the most important aspects of this character which is that he's only a normal person, this is something that Stan Lee and Steve Ditko made for making us identify with the character and create a connection with the story, he was just a normal person, vulnerable, that suffered bullying, that was mocked by his school colleagues, and just by an accident gained his powers and after a hard lesson he starts to fight the crime. Fantastic? Actually not... The writing of spiderman's origin is shallow compared to Batman or Superman. A teenage kid suddenly gets powers and now decides to do good is very cliche. Superhero championing a city, costume underneath casual clothes, isn't that Superman concept too which is 23 years older than spiderman comics. At least Superman have a very realistic upbringing, his morals and codes are taught to him since childhood by his parents, so him debuting in metropolis he's already a morally steadfast person. Batman is darker but has the same realistic upbringing, his vengeance and dedication started when his parents died and since then studied martial arts crime and deception. Spiderman bitten by spider then decides to do good, fighting a terrorist in hoverboard and military don't seem to send helicopters lol. Any good person becoming an instant millionaire thru powerball will become rebellious with money at some point, the same with power.
@@iyeldelacruz6135 I like Batman and Superman origins, there's good things in their stories either, but say that spider-man's origin is just he being bitted by a spider and deciding to do good stuff is ignorance, when Peter got his powers he didn't decided to do good things, actually he decided to make money with it, participating of fights and appearing on tv, he just decided to do good things after his uncle died for his fault, so to feel better about his fault he decided to help the people, so as you can see it's a very solid origin, with Peter doing what every person would do if got powers, getting money, Stan Lee said it a bunch of times during his interviews, and this is the reason why I and a lot of fans likes spider-man, he is the most human of all the super heroes, read amazing fantasy 15, if this be my destiny and the amazing spider-man #248.
