You have no idea how happy I am seeing that 86 with a ae86 paintjob
Throw in the initial D Fujiwara tofu shop working on the right side for cool points
It’s the the 8 spoke Watanabes as well. Seems cheesy, but it looks so good!!
GS-F is hell of a car for money. Reliable, fast, exotic, great sounding and well balanced for everyday and fun on the track. Sadly it is discontinued but hell I want one!
Hell of a used car for the money** I honestly don't think they're worth what they are brand new considering the competition with that said I bought a used one and am very happy with it.
@@mcc78405 for how much though
@@emiliospowerballer1441 Still over $45k
Price have gone up. You’d be lucky to get a high mileage one for under $50k nowadays.
@@AnontheGOAT yeah and reliable isn’t a wide I’d label them with. Not bad cars but not most reliable and working on them can be a nuisance
I want that Lexus as a daily
Get one, they're amazing
Tire cost would be more than petrol cost😂😂love that car...I think it looks better than the RCF
I'd rather have a Lexus ES as a daily. I don't want sporty drifting on my way to work. I want smooth ride and luxury.
@@angrysocialjusticewarrior Pussy lol.
I daily a Lotus Elise. Life it too short for boring cars.
I have one as a daily and I hate it, because I have to be cautious every where I drive. A piece of my mud guard broke off taking the bottom of the side skirt with it when I went over a speed bump and I'm super bummed. The GS F is more of a weekend/track car to me I'd rather daily a beater that I don't care about
This ladies and gentleman is called *'wheel-base'*
BrabusBandit no it's called Lexus! Japanese engineering and power. That BMW looked boring
bassicuk1986 lol Lexus is cool but i think u r american when saying that lmao
Why are german brands on the top XD?
Hence why stretch limo Hummers are known as the best drift cars out there
RE:R4PTOR German brands at the top!? That’s debatable.
Tom Jones actually it's not debatable. Germans own the car industry
V8 + RWD = Perfection.
who's delivering tofu with that GT86?
LazerSausage takumi

*EUROBEAT INTENSIFIES*
I think Mat just wanted a reason to drift some cars...
most of you guys here butthurt because two awesome japanese cars smoked that boring m2 lol. Japan literally brought up the drifting scenes with the older ae86, nissan silvia, and many more
Asif Noaman Ay the M2 ain’t that boring, apart from the fact that it sounds really bad
@@saltie.7783 it sounds shit and looks dull
boring my ass fucking fool
IS THAT A SUPRA? Oh it's just a bmw...
@@bassicuk1986 you have no taste it seems
I think the title needs to be renamed from "Least fun" to "Best Drift"
It's one the reasons why some drifters race with long wheelbase rwd sedans and Toyota has made a lot of them for the past few decades. Though using a brand new Lexus GS F as a drift car is too expensive and risky, maybe after a decade or so when they start to get dirt cheap in the used market.
That GS-F sounded lovely 😍
4:09 it’s actually quite nitheee
Izarfiq Lee inner Mike Tyson coming out there 🤣
Hahaha
So Japanese invented drifting and their cars won this challenge .. what a surprise lol
IKR. The GT86 is a touge car and it's very good at that. Down mountain passes it's very quick.
It’s about wheelbase not origin
GT86 is the most misunderstood car.
It's all about handling and fun. Just like the Miata. It is basically the Miata of Toyota.
@@VampirusX. *The BRZ of Toyota
@@falahdika887 ... what?
Lexus won because of its long wheelbase (pretty obvious). I'd still take the M2 though.
Agreed
That's what I thought too.
bassicuk1986 don't get me wrong, I love Lexus. But I wouldn't take the GS over the M2.
BlackWind lexus won because he did it in first gear, thus lower speed, wider angle, its much easier to turn an object on slow velocities, can even try it on your bicycle. its inevitable and silly.
Yes he should compare with M5 not M2
bassicuk1986 lexus its a boring, ugly toyota, you toyota fanboy
M2 wheel base 2,690 mm
GS-F wheel base 2,850 mm
GT-86 wheel base 2,570 mm
Lexus has a wheelbase advantage. GT-86 has upgraded dampers. M2 is less fun according to this but it looks stunning.
Utku Okçu So?
Zeref Dragneel so what ? my thoughts about this test. should i add anything ?
Don't worry, a lot of car reviewers and if I am not mistaken maybe even Matt said that the M2 is the most fun to drive among the M line and among its competitors. And let's be honest here, you wouldn;t have fun tracking a GS-F but you can't say the same for the M2.
Utku Okçu Yes, you should.
Ok so now electronics tell us which car is more fun? That is fucking insanity a car should be fun to drive as in... yeah fun to drive not statistics showed on a computer...
Where is the Doug score? Give us the Doug score
Stick that Lexus V8 engine in the GT86 already Toyota. And leave it as a 6 speed manual.
That gearbox has a hard enough time with a lightly fettled stock motor lol
SICEM_Rex not really.. Its the clutch.. Gearbox itself starts to fail at 450+ ftlbs of torque witch isnt a "lightly modded" stock motor lel
Actually I think that the Subaru boxer engine is perfect for the gt86 it delivers a low centre of gravity and it makes the car handle great, with some sticky tires the gt86 can go through corners with insane speeds, a v8 would disbalance the car and it would also make it heavy in the front
@@skeed.5768 Trying to increase grip on the FRS leads you down a rabbit hole; only upgrading the tires to grippiers, increases the body roll and hurts braking. now you have to upgrade pads and fluid, but now the body roll is getting even worse so you use lowring springs, boom shocks gone. you put coilovers and it is all good. that is a good 2000 to 4000 rabbit hole xD I am currently going to the second stage of it
@@EmptyHeadHeavyFoot dang haven't thought about that ,good luck with your car
I want all of them but all I can afford is a 1999 Camry..
Get the thinnest tyres you can on the rear and use the handbrake
Hate these clickbait titles.
Aleš Vyhňák the M2 lost, so it’s not clickbait. No one would expect these results.
That's still clickbait lmao. A non-clickbait would be "M2 lost"
It’s not clickbait but i hate the title too
Atid Jenkins fuckboy tell me how "you won't believe" is not a fucking clickbait. You are mixing up yellow journalism with clickbaiting. It's two completely different things
Guys quit getting salty, just watch the video
They surprised me, but man you really drive!!! Those drifts were awesome!! I like the Toyota!!
Could have told you that from the beginning, vehicles with a longer wheelbase will have more degrees or angle slide and with appropriate power do it easier.
I like the GT86 cuz its fun in a cheap price
James Patrick De Chavez it's not cheap tho. Brand new $35000. For that I can get an r34 gtt that's in mint condition. Or get a slightly used 370z.
Oops what i meant to say is that among them three the 86 is the cheapest and one of the most fun cars you can drive
In my country it's cost 100k plus for used
James Patrick De Chavez Mazda mx 5
Truth is, you can find a GS F for 35-40k in the UK. Rest of Europe, count double the price though. I am living in France, and seriously considering a rhd Lexus GS F (they’re even cheaper than the IS F where I live...).
Excellent. You should do this with old vs new like an e46 M3.
E46s no good
E36 is superior
I could see the smoke coming from those tyres especially the BMW M2 that show more smoke coming through. Drifting the Lexus GS-F shows it is more than epic to thrown around the corners, consequently, Mat did the first course with the GS-F too hard which cause tyre wear and did not receive the actual drift angle result as he had to complete the second course delicately without causing any more damage, otherwise it would be dangerous.
No matter how well made these dsg gearboxes are, there is nothing like a true manual.
Tbh. Nothing beats the look of the gt86.
Man that fake sound in the BMW hurts my ears...........
The GSF is just something else🔥
6 months with my GS-F and looking for a longer lasting tire. The OEM Michelin SS are grippy so they waste faster even if you don't drift or do burnouts.
When you drift you look like a hybrid of Lionel Messi and Arnold Schwarzenegger XD
Surely this is just because of the longer wheel base and heavier weight? More controllable and predictable.
Eliot Greaves not always think of supercar they try to make it most lightweight as possible its all about traction and suspension system
Talking about the price... GT 86 did actually really good compare to BMW M2
which is about 3 times of it’s price
4:31 lmao he celebrates like a little girl
Dat Boi 4:09
Id go for the Lexus
Major, cerially.
RoyEverythings I would too 100 percent
ⵉⵜⵔⵓⵏⴰⵓⵜ save the manuals
GS-F ❤️
peep peep peep what a garbage so annoying
You can turn that off in the IS-F i'm sure you can in the GS-F
There are 86 likes on this comment. Perfect 😀
Biju Mj do you want some sugar on your salty ass?
@@bijumj2482 You know what must be annoying? Having to take your car for repair so often. But Lexus owners obviously can't relate.
That is BS. Lexus had longer wheelbase than the other two. Also it won't sustain long drift bcuz its easily oversteer.
Intel & Nvidia SUXXZZZ!!! The M2 has a longer wheelbase than GT86 yet GT86 beat it.....
The M2 has a wider track, much wider tires, and better rubber than the GT86. A very silly test.
I think this test doesn't tell which car is the most boring but tells how bad are you at drifting
Khalid Mulla do it better :)
Do it better, it is indeed easy to talk, he has trained very hard to be able to drift like this, if u ever watched his videos you would know, shutup thats all
Krepaa yo hang on you guys have dissenting opinion, take it easy.
Dafa H removed cursing words, im chill.
He just achieved a 50 degree drift angle with a stock road car.
that GT86 is epic I want one!
I was expecting it... the longer wheel base gives you more "attitude". with short wheel base cars you just got the feeling you gonna spin it because the less space between the centre and the 2 axles
the amount of people who call themselves "car enthusiasts" and the badge snobs here are astounding
Is it just me or does the m2 sound muted?
lack of a cup of water in the gt86's cupholder forced me to end this video early.
pls try the lexus GS-F 2020 V8 5.0 drag race or a review
always adored the GS-F
Is it just me, or you're finding it hard to keep a straight face and not crack a laugh?
So... I guess you could call this video... TOKYO DRIFT
The Toyota GT86 is a lot easier to handle right?
Ok, so a heavy car with a long wheelbase is good for trashing tires at an angle. If you're looking for a fun drive, you still want the M2.
You can already tell from the title the Lexus would have a fighting chance I mean 2 coupes and then the one 4 Door Sports Saloon?
Gotta love that M2 though. Sounds like a damn vacuum in this video for some reason
They all sound like vacuums in person... that's what turbos do to the authentic sound of a car.
I am a simple person I see initial d car I click on the video
Came as soon as i saw the UA-cam notification of Carwow 😊 !!!
This guy looks like the old Bond in the movie 'on her majesty's secret service' !!!
BMW M2 Anyday the car is just too good looking🔥🚘
The Lexus is cool but I would have the M2.
I would say the Michelin Pilot Super Sports have something to do with it on the M2 as they’re super sticky! Love the Lexus though and the added benefit of wheelbase shines through with it.
2:41 that was a laugh!
Put on four donuts/spacesavers on the Lexus and then attempt this to see how far it can be pushed.
The Lexus more like Powersliding 😎
Dont forget toyota because if there no toyota there no drifting
Theory... The longer the wheelbase length, the greater the drift slip angle? Try this in a stretch Limo, LoL... And drifting just eats tires and looks cool, but is actually slower around a track. Fact.
I don't want to have fun...I want to win haha
Fun video, but what does it really mean? Wouldn't the length of the Lexus give it an advantage with slip angle?
Wait, Mat said that Lexus is nice? You feeling alright m8 🤣
I love the focused look on his face.
That GT-86 looks dope.
A useful real world test and application.
These videos are too good man
i really really enjoy these carwow videos but maybe sound edit the screams/excitement down a notch in the future ? its not just this video i realised. volume increases on engine noises/note would be nice too.
Matt your drifting skills sure has improved tremendously! :D
That Toyota gt86 sounds like a lawnmower
I like Matt’s job, recording yourself having fun and driving around in cool cars😂
Why are there no GSF VS. RS5 Sportback videos?
I remember that skinny guy from carfection, when he worked for evo, couldn't drift the gt86! Matt showing him how it's done.
I really really really really really really really like the GS F, but the HP numbers kills it! And I hate cashing extra for turbos and what not... Lexus should slap 2 turbos from factory, bump up the hp to 600+ and bitch slap the Germans while at it!
///M2 is not a dumb drift car.
M2 is a time attack/track weapon
Everyone still underestimating the 86 in our modern time still hasn’t watched initial d
Takumis son be delivering tofu
This video would have benefited a lot from the an overhead drone shot!
Also such a fun video to watch!
Least fun simply depends on the drift angle? Nah that depends on so much more things
Would be nice if you would test new RS Focus with its drift mode.
Pretty sure wheelbase has a huge effect on this lol
Matt, you looked all hard and that, similar to Tommy Robinson while doing the slide in the Gt86...lol !!
I never thought I would hear Matt say 'Initial D' lol. I wonder if he is a fan of the show
I like all the cars here so Im not fanboying here, but did the GS F got better angles because its a longer car?! Just curious
Wats the point testing the m2 when it is stopping production. When soon the m2 competition comes out
You guys have to invest on some drone. This would've been more awesome with more aerial shots
Really wanted Tokyo drift music during this
BRZ for price
M2 for fun
Lexus well if you like a longer wheel base
These cars arent in the same class
Gt86:entry level sport coupe (not meant to
have a ton of power)
M2:performance sport coupe (a well balanced
Mid level sports car)
Gsf:performance sedan (class is self
explanatory)
Japanese cars are best in drifting 👍
Does the writing on the 86 say "Fujiwara Tofu Shop" ?
Can you do the drift with the c63s
Didn’t know fun had a quantitative measure
It looks like the Toyota is skipping as it goes around? Is that a stiff rear setup or am I talking nonsense?
Wish Matt would have done a proper review on the GS F ☹️
I still don't know which is the least fun...
So the car with the longest wheelbase is the best for drifting? Who would have thought?
This is more about drivers ability more than the cars capability in my opinion 🤷🏿♂️
