Traditionally, and still performed in some distilleries, the barley germinates on a floor into malt. While it does so, it must be continually “turned” or shovelled over so that it doesn’t grow into a solid carpet of barley plants. “Monkey Shoulder” refers to a condition that some men picked up after long shifts turning the barley by hand, where the work caused one of their arms to hang down a bit like a monkey, there would be lot more interesting fact inside the video, so let's get into the video Cheers

We never know how the notes comes in whiskey. Please make some video on this
U need to take a sip swirl it up inside ur mouth keep for a few secs then u'll start getting the notes...notes are usually the fragnance of the cask in which they r kept....but Dada would be able to clarify better
It also depends on humidity and temperature where the whiskey is aged in addition to the arrangement of cask placed in storage

Dada can share any reference from where you got to know that there is artificial coloring added in this whiskey. I believe you are wrong here and you just said it since you are not aware that this whiskey is finished in sherry cask and the deeper color is because of the sherry cask and not artificially added. I would still want to know from where you got this information, to correct myself if i am wrong.

Hey there, im a newbie when it comes to alcohol. Wanna know which whisky (scotch) do u recommend neat. My first one was red label but the bartender diluted the shit out of it. Second was blenders pride. It had extremely subtle flavour profile compared to its spirit punch.
Ram Sagar red level is not a very good scotch whiskey to start with . You may try green lebel from Johnny Walker series. Even double black is also good .
If you want something smoother, try monkey shoulder or Jameson . If you have bit tight on budget then may go for William Lawson , vat 69 , black n white , teachers . If you want to explore single malt world , then try with glenmorangie or glenlivet . In India Paul John brilliance is also really good . On the next level you try Amrut fusion as it will be bit spicier and has peat . Paul John brilliance cost you around 3300 .

I have a bottle of monkey shoulder in my collection . It’s one of the smoothest easy drinking whiskey . It’s a speyside whiskey and made from glenfiddich, kinnive and balviene . And it’s much cheaper in dutyfree shop . I got it for 3000 rs for 1 ltr
