Really nice job done by our forum developers. I like those themes. Never used it before and excited to use them as soon I'm back from my holidays. Also my hat down for you guys at Launchbox for the Attract Mode. Nice option! Sometimes I like to be surprised which game I will play and this random mode allows me to play and challenge any game at any time! Well done Jason!

I just want to say that LaunchBox is some incredible software. The friendly nature of all these videos and the remarkable amount of transparency the team has with what's going on and what's coming up convinced me to buy a license almost immediately. Good job, y'all.

Are you fucking kidding me???!!? I swear to God, buying the license for this was the best $20 I have spent. So much work and detail goes into this that I look forward each day to seeing what's going on with the Launchbox scene. Awesome work, keep it up guys! Now I just need to get a Emumovies account going so I can really start using BigBox properly.

What an interesting concept. I was looking forward to a randomize button in big box similar to the desktop version and it feels like attract mode was just what I needed. Such great thinking!

Awesome news and awesome video! I probably will never change from the cover flow theme and the normal PC theme. (I barely use BigBox mode, but that's just more credit that a person isn't forced to buy this fantastic front end and still get just an awesome thing!) BigBox mode IS required if you want to do something like stream to an Nvidia Shield TV though, and is totally worth it for that. One day I will be sick and too lazy to get to my PC, but know I will fling my arm over to my controller and smile as I load up BIgBox mode remotely and can at least enjoy looking at the things that made my childhood so much fun :)
If anyone is on the fence about BigBox mode, it's very worth it. You don't have to buy it. But if you ever used a Wii with USB loading and Coverflow and can imagine that being for every system ever made, then you know you want it :P lol

The VERY FIRST theme you talked about... It is beautiful! Is it possible to have a background video play and loop instead of having images of the console change (in the background) when you move through the wheel? The wheel is in the perfect place (on the right), the little video demonstrating the game (bottom left) is tiny and PERFECT (but I would like to have that audio muted). In the background, I would like to have a video playing (that doesnt change, only loops) while you move through the wheel and games.. the wheel AND the little game demo video are both perfect in SIZE and PLACEMENT. The positioning and size of these two would make it PERFECT for having a video file play in the background (with audio), but having the audio of the game demo video would need to be muted then so that it doesnt overlap with the MAIN video playing in the background. the reason I request this... is because I have purchased a custom arcade machine cabinet (4player 8button each).. and everything I have put into it so far has totalled just under $12,000... Im doing the graphics for it myself and its going to be a Terminator themed cabinet. It will arrive in 2 months at my door.
BUT the ONLY way to make it a dream come true arcade machine... I really would like to have this idea (mentioned above) made possible AND I WILL PAY money for this if you and your team could do that for me. Without this... I am afraid that it just wont be complete for me... I really will pay for this if you guys could do this for me... honest to god!!!
I just want to have a single background video play (full screen and with sound), and NO background images pop up of the consoles when you move through the wheel, but YES to the mini demo video (without sound) in the very bottom left like you guys have... that would be so PERFECT. I WILL pay for this. The video (which I have) will be the intro to Terminator 2 (the future war scene). Should also be easy to just change videos to whatever I want right? But I would like it to only play a single video (with audio), and looped.
For example, when you are highlighted on lets say sega genesis, then a background image does NOT pop up with the sega console, INSTEAD it will just be that video still playing (that started when the program launched and got to the main menu)....
Please get back to me when you can.... again, I WILL pay for this!!!

Love all the new themes! I just bought the lifetime license for big box and I cannot believe all the options and how easy it is to use! I have a question, am I allowed to download the license I received via email to both my laptop and desktop? And if so, is there a way to sync up my interface, UI, games and/or files? If not, no worries, I am just curious. Thank you all again for all the amazing work you are doing. Mucho Mahalo from Hawaii
Thank you Donatello! Yes, you are free to use your license on as many personal computers as you wish. We only ask that you don't share it with your friends. :)
The best way to sync everything up is to put the entire LaunchBox folder inside of Dropbox: www.dropbox.com/
This technique worked flawlessly! Now when I get new gaming videos/gaming images/games on my laptop it syncs up with my PC at home! You guys are just too much video gaming goodness. Much Mahalo from Hawaii :)
All my gameplay videos feature Big Box..I'm working through the Metal Slug series right now. I'm gonna get to Metal Slug 5, 6 and X before the weekend is over. Also, nyny77's platform videos are top notch.

I am excited about LED Blinky as well as Hyper Marquee. Are you guys currently working on Hyper Marquee integration or something equivalent?
I just added initial support for LEDBlinky yesterday. I do have plans to support something like Hyper Marquee but we haven't started on it yet.
+LaunchBox Awesome! I built a gigantic arcade cabinet with a very large LCD TV in it and a commercial ultra wide display for the Marquee that I paid a small fortune for. It has a four coin slot, a spinner, huge RGB trackball, four 8 way joysticks, two 4 way joysticks, guns... the works. I was originally going to load it with Hyperspin but when your software really started taking off and you began adding Bigbox along with other "arcade" features I immediately bought a lifetime license and decided to wait on finishing the arcade build until your software was ready. lol So I guess you can imagine how excited I am for this feature to be added. ; ) Thanks for the awesome product and all of your hard work. I really appreciate the quick responses too.
Show us!!!! I am in the process, planning stages, of a very similar if not exact same thing. There arent many awesome cabinets like this around, so its hard coming up with alternative ideas to my initial plan. Love to see what youve done

Hi Miguel, yup, just LaunchBox Premium, the MinimalHD theme that is available in the description, and EmuMovies paid for the videos. It is indeed available with the current version, though you might want to update to the latest beta.

Who ever made that Hyper spin theme like a while back. I hope he is able to continue working that out. that could be pretty awesome. I would definitely donate if that was able to get a Full Adaptation in LaunchBox
That is all still available but you need a Hyperspin premium account in order to download the videos.

Are we able to play the games on here without downloading them separately? By that I mean, when you download launch box, you don't have to download the games and you just play them? And how do we connect controllers to play these?! ^O^
Hi UA-cam, we do not provide the games. You'll need to use your own games. Controller support is easy; just plug it in and enable it in the options.

I would love to be able to play a game by just hitting enter on the game logo. Could you please add that option? I know some people like having the game details, and i like it sometimes as well, but 99% of the time I want to just click the logo and play right away.

did you download all the game videos manually?
videos can be manually added to your games. There's also integration with EmuMovies, allowing you to download videos from their service. I believe that's a premium offering from them though.
@@UnbrokenSoftwareLLC emumovies never show anything when i search for media, and yes i have life time premium, i just have 500+ games so i dont wanna download all the videos manually it would takes months
You would have to reach out to EmuMovies, we don't take care of their premium offerings.

Yes, you need LaunchBox Premium for any Big Box related feature and some regular LaunchBox features as well.

Well Jason the developer, put a lot in to Big Box to be a more premium experience. There is a $20/year option, with a plan to renew or upgrade later if you'd like to test it out, and you can exercise a full refund if you'd like as well, but we do believe that Big Box is a uniquely premium experience, and people are willing to pay for it. It goes in to supporting us, making LaunchBox better, making this channel better and much more.
Where can I get support/resources/group for Big Box theme developmment? Im familiar with developing via Attract Mode within Retropie. I want to create CyberBlue Ultra for PC. If anyone is interested in checking out my AM theme give me a shout on this comment and Ill post video(as long as that is ok). Has nothing to do with money or necessarily even download. Its not terrible. I'm excited to learn about BigBox.

Hi, I pressed Import ROMs and choose NOT to move my roms while making a Nintendo Collection. I regret I didn't now. Is there Anyway to Move ROMs to Launchbox's Games Folder latter .. if you want to.
Currently my NES files is in C:/Games/ but I like them to be in c:/launchbox/games/.. like I was given an option to do.
Im also premium now. Love the New themes to BigBox _=)
Awesome, thank you Stephanie! The best way to move them is just to delete the games from LaunchBox and then re-import them. You won't lose any of the images or media you've downloaded and when you re-import you can just skip the downloads, so it'll go really quick.
How should I skip the downloads? Just not mark the other files? Or will Launchbox automaticly not add files if it founds there is files already ?
thats odd. I added the roms again and now its downloading like .. box, fan and screenshots. . I already downloaded and selected like everything one time before :)

Actually Maybe it was only My Problem But...
If I had done like you said..
Just unselect ALL then import I wouldve been fine probably, but i tried with select all. And..
I tried to import my games again (having all stuff selected) after deleting them and got...copies. n issues.
1. Copy of images (Banner, Box - Back, Box - Front, Clear Logo, Fan Background )

2. Fortunely, I closed down the import when I saw i got copies and unselected all and imported my games again. Then, The first games i got copies of wasn't added to my collection. So I had to add them with "Select Files" and not "Select Folder".

Oic, there is a separate option to import Windows games that you'll need to use instead. Under Tools > Import > Windows Games.
