I mean we waited 11 years for DMC5, and I personally don't mind waiting at least 5 years before a new DMC comes out. Maybe they'll release DMC5 SE with playable Vergil to keep us waiting. That'd be dope tbh
Completely agree. I mean, it's fine for in-game because you're not focused on it, but listening to it by itself is a little rough. It sounds really under-produced, and because of that it doesn't have much impact. There are some meaty riffs being played here, but you can't tell because they have no punch to them. The drums sound completely flat too, but DMC music has always had an electronic sheen over it, so it's probably because they're super processed, or even that they aren't real drums at all. Not only is it a direct contrast with how Dante embraces his humanity and draws strength from it where Vergil repeatedly rejects his own, it’s also an amazingly corny sentiment.
When you feel like you're too submissive and powerless, it makes you feel like you didn't gain anything from being with that person. Like you aren't considered, you're meant to be stepped on, disrespected, etc.. it shouldn't be that way. Eyes > Feet
You make him submit when you're in bed, then you become an integral part of his decisions. He listens to your word, considers you as well. So "the power element" is balanced, you are not too submissive and you feel like it's a blessing to be with him.
If you're interested, she appears in a prequel novel, "Devil May Cry 5: Before the Nightmare". She teams up with Dante to defeat a powerful demon and pretty much admits she has feelings for him but that she clearly notices he's oblivious to them.
For starters, Metalcore was a bit too hard on the ears, theme was way off for someone as iconic as Dante and mixing was so damn awful you legit couldn't hear the guitars or the "choir". Just screeching screaming and dubstep. If you don't believe me, you can watch the video and compare.
Well, I listen mostly to Death and Black Metal. At least in my case the older vocals were too off, they didn't match Besides that, most people are not into Metalcore or other Metal subgenres
The vocals in this are stronger, he's growling instead of just flat out screeching like in the original. The growling compliments the more feral nature that Dante's Sin Devil Trigger takes rather than some guy screaming and failing miserably whilst doing so.
Man, this song is awful. In addition to just being plain bad, it doesn’t suit Dante at all. Thank goodness you can change a character’s battle theme, and thank goodness “Shoot the Works” is available in DMC5.
Hard disagree, I used to think like that too but after completing the game, this really fits the Dante we know and play as in DMC5. He's pumped on wrath juice and he is basically invincible at this point even Vergil can't beat him after he was weakened from all his previous encounters. This is the final boss song fitting to the vibes he gives.
