Those older Ford Rangers are well built! I have a 2008 with the 4.0 Litre V6. It's still running well with 215,000 miles. When I have one of those days and I get frustrated I walk away from the project, sometimes for a few minutes, other times for a day or two, until I am ready to return. Playing some of my favorite music helps when I am tackling a project. Thinking of you and your family, Ed.

First time I watched your channel, not knowing about your daughter, I have three and I can only imagine what you going through, I do pray that our Lord comfort you and that you know your daughter is in a better place, no more pain no more sorrow no more worry, praying the Lord bless you.

Great job on that radiator, and thanks for bringing us along!

👍Nice video Ed. That Ranger sure looks to be in really good shape, didn't see any rust in the footage you had here, very nice. Can't beat those old trucks. Wish you were closer, I would come over and undercoat it for you with Wool Wax (Lanolin Based undercoating), to keep it from rusting out.
You and your family continue to be in our prayers. Take Care🙏

Nice job Ed. My boss told me if you get frustrated take a walk. Don't take it out on the machine. Come back with a clear head. I am not going to tell you that you will be fine because you will always have good and bad days. My nephew killed himself about 10 years ago on my birthday which is in about 3 weeks. Since then I don't celebrate my birthday anymore. It's not the same but the pain is. He was 16 y.o. have a good week.

Two cracked coolant tanks..look out for a blown head gasket. Observe flow in radiator while engine is running. Good luck.

Great job on the radiator swap. I agree those magnetic dishes are great, we have loads of them. That was a good idea to walk away when things are not going well.

I'm Back Sir Ed 👍😇👌🥶 It was so cold that my car 7 yrs old battery just died this morning (new one install in less that 45 min and that include the boost from Canadian Version of ( AAA ) to get me at Canadian Tire Store, then Change The Battery In the parking lot under that cold and windy weather and I was back in action 🔥✨🚀Yes shopping local is very good 😇👍 Very Nice Sun Set 🧐👍You are a very calm person Sir 🙏🙏😇According to most maintenance manuals, Do you know in most vehicles, I could take up to 30 min to fully warm up all the components of a vehicle 👍👍🧐The Pressure wire could be touched when you remove and install the new rad 🤔 Keep Warm Sir Ed and We Miss Your Monday Livestream 🙏🙏😇Be Well Cheers 🍻🍻

If it is indeed the cluster causing that oil pressure gauge issue, they're easy to swap and interchangeable with quite a few years, along with the Explorer and its variants of the same era. If you get a cluster out of an automatic you can easily swap the blanking panel over from your manual cluster.

If that’s a bad mood…we gotta hang out….you need to see what a bad mood is! 🤣🤣
I loved my old Ranger. They’re fun little trucks to work on. If my framed hadn’t cracked, I’d still be running it.
Anyway, Ed…you talk about your daughter anytime you want!
If I ever lost one of my girls…..I’d be talking about them all the time.
Does your ranger have an oil pressure sensor? Might need to replace that?

Too bad about your daughter. 🙁
My son works at a Ford dealership. Buys his parts from rock auto. 🤭
But those aftermarket parts can bite you at times, by not fitting exactly. That’s the chance you take. He’s had mostly good luck thou.
    Have a good day👍🏻👍🏻👋👋
