Nothing you do Tina is boring. Love the squishiness of this cover, turned out amazing. Thank you for taking time to share. Hugs.
I've used the big white Amazon ones. I sewed fabric on both sides! It made a comforting squishy book!!! Anything is possible in the junk journal world! Love your channel!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰
Turned out lovely! Fun to recycle in this way! Thanks for sharing! ❤️
Very lovely Tina thank you for sharing your time and your talent have a wonderful weekend 🌹❤️
The bubble wrap envelope is genius! Love it. Thanks for sharing.
Absolutely lovely Tina. You do such beautiful things.
I’m SOOO doing this! I got a bubble envelope in the post yesterday and I’m doing this! And yes, yours is gor-eous!
Yay, have fun x
It turned out beautiful. Will be trying it myself. Thanks for sharing. Have a blessed day.
What a clever idea. I went straight to my trash can and retrieved an envelope I had gotten yesterday from Amazon. I already have a journal the same size that needs to be covered. Love yours TFS........Tina
Oh thank you so much Tina, have fun x
Brilliant idea! I love squishy journals and this will just add to the squish! 🤣🤗❤️
Always fun to come along on an uncharted journey! That mulberry paper rather looks on camera like embossed leather! Very nice choice. Measuring?? Pah! Where's the adventure in that? I love the burlap and the crocheted lace. Great job!
Lol, love your attitude towards measuring 🤗🙃😉 x
So pretty! I love when journals feel "squidgy"!
Me too x
What a excellent creative ideal I have kept must of these those bubble envelopes not knowing if they where going to be used. Now they will get used I also have several journals in progress!! Thanks for sharing really sharing!! 👏🏾😊🤗!! Still over 90’s this week & next so inside crafting will get done !!
Oh thank you so much April, hope you’re having gun with your bubble envelopes x

So so pretty, Tina! Love your idea of the bubble wrap! 👏👏👏👏👏
Very beautiful, Tina. What a great idea. Tfs.
Love your accent so don't apologize for your words. Its fun. Your projects are so cute.
Your journal cover turned out so pretty! Love the idea of using bubble mailers! Great idea! xo
Look so Good love this use up what you have on the desk 😍😍🥰🥰
Absolutely love this! So much more simple compared to how I've seen others do it. I've not tried to do this because it looked so difficult.
Thank you, Tina! I can't wait to make my squishy journal!
Now I know what to use my bubble wrap envelopes for. Tfs!!!
Love how this turned out. Really is a quick journal and so lovely. You have such a creative mind. Thank you!
Greetings Miss Tina! Love 💖 your videos and digitals! You inspire me!!
Just a tip when using the bubble wrap mailers and water based glue: be sure to let it dry and not glue it and close it up. I glued paper to the inside with water based glue (where the bubbles are) and then covered the goldenrod colored paper side of the mailer with fabric (used fabri-tac). When I went back to it a couple weeks later it was still a bit soggy inside. the glue held but it was damp without any airflow. I am glad I noticed it before too long as it may possibly mold or mildew with moisture trapped inside. Originally I tried fabri-tac on the side with the bubbles but probably didn't use enough and the paper I was trying to adhere peeled off - didn't stick. I didn't want to sew it due to how I was assembling the cover/journal and because I had limited options for glue, I ended up using plain old water based glue. I am now letting it air dry with the opening of the envelope propped open to get airflow. It was likely more noticeable on mine as it was only open at one end. It may have not been as bad if both ends were open and air could get through it more easily.
Also, I just purchased 4 of your digitals from your etsy and am in love with them all!! Can't wait to use them!! (💚Woodland Wonder background pages and the ephemera add-on❤, the Victorian Florals set 2💜, and the Bellissimo kit💙). Looking forward to being able to purchase more in the future.
Wondering if you ever offer discounts or run any sales in your etsy? if so, please let me know and I will check it out.
Thanks for sharing your time and talents with the crafting community!!!
Thank you so much for your tips about the bubble wrap envelopes, I will be sure to take extra care next time. Thank you so much for purchasing some of my digi’s, I really hope you enjoy using them. I don’t tend to run sales or anything as I try to keep my prices down so that things are affordable to everyone, there’s nothing worse than seeing beautiful craft goodies and not being able to buy them 🙃🤗😊. That said, I did run a Black Friday discount last year x
Really beautiful wat a great idear thanks for sharing . Hugs from Holland
Stunning ❣️ I've been trying to figure out what to use the bubble wrap envelopes for. This is Genius 👌😊🦋💜🐝💚🐞
Oldies, but goodies!
Lovely, I did this in junk in the trunk and work well, I love the feel of it. X
Andrea, I remember when you did this and have been saving my bubble mailing envelopes ever since. Now I’m going to go back and rewatch your video and definitely going to give this a try. Between both videos, hopefully I can do it and make it look good 😊. We’ll see!!
Linda H. You will just make sure if not using fabric to re-I force the spine x
You girls are so inspiring. Love to see both of you on one site. You have truly changed my life. Thanks to both of you. You visit me every morning with a cup of coffee and glue under my nails.
ARTYmaze, thank you Andrea for the advice. I will make sure to use tyvek or fabric. I love your work Andrea 😊
Oh thank you so much Andrea, I will go back and check out your video. They give a lovely squishy feel don’t they? X
I just happened to have a used bubble envelope in my hand snd turned on your channel!!! You just get on there and create on the fly!!! BTW, your daughter is so talented too!!!
Wow, great timing! Oh thank you so much for mentioning my daughter too x
You make me laugh you say the funniest stuff..love your channel...ready to try the bubble wrap cover soon.....
Love this idea. Will be using it a lot!
Thank you!! :)
Love to see al of your videos 😍😍🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I love your, "This may be a total fail", comment. If that were true I wouldn't be watching this video right now lol. I've saved some If these envelops to try this so now that I know how well it works I'll be giving it a try myself. So if I'm still watching my style is matchy matchy with yours at least on this project. Lol.
I also love your choice of fabric for the cover even with the pattern not running the same way in the front and back cover. I don't think it will be that noticeable with some decorative trim along the seam. I'd use some Chinese braid here.
I love the finished product even without my suggestions. It's marvoulious !!!
Lol x
I did one of these covers and it turned out great only problem is I can’t stop squishing it lol, I love how it turned it and I will deffo be making more, hugs xxx
Yes, they feel great don’t they? X
Was watching other crafter work with bubble wrap. One put a heavy book overnight to let the cover dry, before starting embellishments. Perhaps it depends on type of product used for cover? Can’t wait to try myself. Love your Chanel.
Hi Tina, I watched your video yesterday, the one where you covered the corrugated mailer with canvas. I never get anything in that type of mailer. I was kind of bummed. Then today, this video, yay! I’ve been saving these mailing envelopes, as I’ve seen Andrea (Artymaze) cover one. So now, between both videos, I feel a bit more confident trying this. Thank you!!
Me too... I don't have any of the Amazon packaging. ❤
Oh Linda and Laura, I am so pleased to have done something that you have supplies for. Have fun x
What a fun idea, Tina! I wonder if you added anything else to the cover. I hope you will show us! :)
Thank you Barbara, flip through will be coming up x
This is so lovely Tina💖🦋💖🦋💖…
This calls out to me as I am a shabby chick person and I absolutely Love this. I don't have the knack to make this, Nore the funds to buy it with the difference in the price for the shipping to the states. But I SO WISH I COULD. ❤😪
Tina I absolutely love your hack-attack approach.... your unagination is wonderful ! Definitely going to try this.... hugs from a very cold Cape Town....😊❤🦋
How fun! When you said you might stitch the envelope on your machine, my first thought was of the sounds of bubbles popping!
Lol x
That just looks so squishy, I love it.. Thanks Tina, have a lovely day.. ♥️
GdM Tina!! WOW!! This project really looks beautiful (as all your projects do)! I'm going to give it a whirl. Grands will love sound and feel too. Have a wonderful, safe and blessed weekend! Peace & Blessings!
WHAT A FABULOUS IDEA.
TURNED OUT VERY WELL.
LOVE YOUR "SIMPLE" COFFEE DYED PAPERS.
💜CAMILLE 🇦🇺
I’ll try the bubble wrap. Fun idea! Thx for your crafting inspiration .
I love that sound!
The journal is very pretty. It amazes me how you can make something so unremarkable look amazing in the end.
Take care.
Thank you so much Jobeth x
I saw the title and came running!! I have a few of these and didn't know what to do with them lol.. Thank you, Tina!! 💖
Love the concept Tina, now to see if I have a bubble envelope, probably not as I have a habit of popping all the bubbles.😂
I love that squishy, too! The cover is beautiful 😍😍😍
Score tape or double sided tape is what I’d use to fasten the plastic bubble wrap to the envelope.
So neat! Going to have to try this! So many ideas, so little time! Oh wait....🤣
Lol x
Oh my goodness, that is adorable!💕
Love the video today's and yesterday can you tell me were you got the paper you cover the inside with, thank you and have a wonderful day
Most of the time Tina use paper from her digital kits. She has so many that they will drive you crazy because it is really hard to pick the ones you just have to have. My problem is that I keep running out of ink for my printer. You will find her prices are very reasonable.❤
I used mulberry handmade paper for the inside cover, and then the pages were from my Flights of Fancy kit in my shop x
Thank you so much Laura for pointing Christal in the direction of the papers x
Thank you, l will go shopping at your shop 🙂
I love it 😍
oops! Try again- I have tried this but didn't like the plastic showing through. Would you recommend trimming away the edges of the plastic or sewing to avoid that sparkle of plastic? I love your choice of mulberry paper. Thanks for the tutorial.
marjean weber I’m the same with the plastic showing. My sewing machine is out of action so I thought if I cut the inside cover a bit bigger and glue it to the back of the outside cover the plastic will be covered. 🤔I’ll see if it works . 😁
I didn’t find the plastic was showing too much, maybe it was beginners luck for me? X
And your daughter sounds so sweet! 🥰
I will be making one of these when I find an envelope in my stash of stuff. Love the traveler size ❤❤❤
Just discovered your channel! What a treat. Subscribed✅liked✅
Oh thank you so much and welcome to my channel x
How can I see your older videos like this one?
This just pop up as suggestions 💜💜🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Really lovely Tina I can't wait to try this as I love the feel of the bubblewrap you make it look so easy to cover the journal tfs best wishes from London x
Fabritac a solvent based glue which works on non porous products. Water based glues won’t generally work on plastics because it’s not absorbing any wet glue.
Thanks for that explanation Dearheart. It helps choosing glue easier. 👍🏻👋🏻from Australia.
Thank you Deerheart, you made the glue explanation really make sense x
Great idea! I love it and will be trying it. Blessings and Hugs 🤗
When your using your sewing machine to sew all those layers to make your book or sewing through bubble wrap and two layers of paper , does it bog down your machine? And what size needles do you use.
I just use Standard needles, and it seems to work ok x
Great idea.
Hi Tina do you perhaps know the size of this yournal. Thanks
So cute 🥰
Beautiful!! 💕
Sorry... love your imagination
Lol, Isn’t the autocorrect so annoying sometimes? X
Scatty, not conventional style: yup, that's me!!
I like the bubble wrap cover, but the kraft paper jiffy envelope (closest name I could find to what an Amazon order came in) using fabric on the cover is my favorite.
Love&hugs
No matter what you do, and no matter how many times I say "Er, maybe not........NO!" I end up saying "YES YES YES!" Best wishes to you and your family.
Lol, thank you so much Sue x
thak you dear Shabby :)
I think it looks fab, hugs sara
When you said Hessian my phone thought it heard “Hey Siri” and asked what I needed Hahaha!
Lol x
I love how this turned out! Have a mailer sitting on my table and a journal in progress...now I know what my cover will be!
❤
Oh- I love this!!! Tina- the thought of a bubble mailer for the cover- brilliant!! I am very much a tactile person and adore the combo of the paper, fabric, laces---but on the mailer??? Oh yes!!! That is going to send me into tactile heaven!!!
Oh thank you so much Brandy, have fun with your bubble envelopes x
♥️❤️♥️
Maybe double sided tape would work?
Great idea x
“A ton of unfinished projects....😂😂😂😂😂.... that’s a fraction of what I may have! 😩😱
