    I can't wait to turn some fabric into tags. My mom hoarded fabric and every time she moved to a smaller home she would have me to store what she didn't have room for her. Now she is gone and I have an attic full of fabrics of all kinds. She often joked with her friends that whoever died with the most fabric wins....lol
    Now I can give her fabrics a purpose 😌.

    I’m watching this from America. We have a store here called the Dollar Tree and they sell rolls of that bling. I think I have about 3 of each color! Tina, your crafting is real. It’s nice to see an actual human processing like most of us do and not have to edit the video to make everything look perfect. I like your style of crafting; it mirrors how I craft.....even the talking! And I’m not doing any filming! I just talk, and talk, and talk ; my family thinks I have visitors.😂😂. These fabric tags are awesome, I’m off to make some.

    Tina, thank you for the inspiration! I am currently making a journal for my niece who is a cancer survivor. She is now dealing with the consequences of her cancer treatment which leaves her in great pain from the scarring of so many surgeries. She is such a sweet lady and loves to journal. These fabric cards add another delicious layer to the sensory experience of her journal I know she will love. You often mention, the lovely Laura, on your videos. Just to clarify I should call myself, the other Laura! 🤣. Hugs and blessings, 🤗❤️🇨🇦

    I just did this yesterday. I did 2 tutorials. The first one quit filming at like, 9 minutes, the second one never started filming in the first place. So, I ended up doing a tutorial, twice and making something I didn't need, twice. :-) And STILL have no video to upload! lol. I'll use them in something. XX Thanks for sharing. I really do love the black.

    I made a bunch of fabric tags the last video. I made them all tag shaped. I still have a bigger roll of bling that I ordered so I will never run out. I went to a garage sale yesterday and bought rolls of sheer ribbon and a massive roll of red lace trim. I will be sending you some on the next happy mail. Much love to you and your family ❤❤❤

      I feel the same way -- I'm a visual person, meaning, I like things out in the open, but the down side is I'm always losing the scissors, etc. -- so my solution has been, I got men's sneaker (trainers) shoe boxes for free at the sport store -- they are huge -- I covered them with fabric to make them stronger, and they are now my junk drawer -- I keep the top opened on one, and the other is a slide, like a drawer box -- and as I'm crafting and using different tools, when I'm done, I just chuck 'em in the shoe box, and that way I don't have to spend time putting everything back, or the next day, trying to find supplies -- it really has been a game changer for me -- but I'm with you -- I think Tina's desk is wonderful !!!

    I would like to give like a gazillion likes, but yt only allows 1, and I would like to sub, but I subbed a long time ago !!! How are you -- hope you are well; don't feel like you have to respond. But I wanted to tell you, I finally bit the bullet and purchased a color laser printer when my beloved canon broke because I tried to print on both sides using tea-dyed paper -- it got caught on the roller inside -- the guy said it would cost more to try to fix than to purchase a new one -- all of that said, so, of course, because still to this day, it's my favorite -- I had to print out the fabulous tic toc -- wowza -- it's beautiful -- then I don't remember the name, but it's the two blue themed collage pages, which are also my favorites -- I only have presentation paper because of using an ink jet, but the prints come out looking like professional brochures -- I also have more of your kits, and I love them still -- so thank you for producing fabulous kits which can be used for so many different projects -- I put a lot of tic toc in my christmas journals, and I'm about to finish with three more journals, which have your pages included -- you're working so hard on your channel -- it's not easy to post something every day -- so I'm hoping you have great success -- big hugs and kindest regards from the US and me, Patricia

    • @shabbydabbydoodah
      @shabbydabbydoodah  4 роки тому

      Oh thank you so much Patricia, I am so thrilled that you are still loving the TicToc kit, I love that you use it with your Christmas journals. Slightly envious of your laser printer, lol. Thank you so much for your kindness and encouragement and for recognition of the time and effort I put into my channel. Without lovely ladies like yourself it wouldn’t be worth it, you make it all worth it, thank you x

      @@shabbydabbydoodah Tina, invest in the printer. OMG. After a lot of research, I purchased a Lexmark MC3224adw. Be advised, the initial toner cartridges don't hold a lot of powder, and it's an expensive initial investment, but then they print, allegedly, between 600 to 1000 pages. I still do like some effects of the ink jet pages, but no more having to buy expensive presentation paper. Also, adding toner, which costs about $13 per color, is easy and you're supposed to be able to reprogram the chip from the screen on the printer - watched a youtube video. I'm going to experiment on the one cartridge that ran out the first -- yellow. Now, the HP has aftermarket toners much cheaper, but I read a lot of complaints about the printer. Cheers !!
