This is pure bliss. We were just about to fly to Japan then COVID became a big deal and we couldn't go. This honestly made me emotional and I can't wait to get there one day
It is well worth it. I spent 16 days in Tokyo, Yokohama, Kyoto and Hiroshima in the summer of 2019 and it is my best travel experience in the 10 years that I actively travel. I strongly recommend going when you have the opportunity again.

Landed at Haneda around midnight, went through customs and figured out how to take the bus into the city by 2 AM. Got off one of the first stops and just walked for hours, was completely lost and didn't care. Tokyo is an amazing city.

The "cleanliness"? So, those aren't piled up bags of rubbish at 1:08:29 (and several more later on)? Plus, the "cardboard city" type place about 30 minutes later, the traffic cones all over the place, ugly, dirty metal railings by the roadside everywhere, and occasional graffiti. No idea how this city gets away with it, when people see stuff like that in Paris (a city that's a thousand times more beautiful than this concrete dump) you never hear the end of it. Rank hypocrisy.

Firstly, thank you for taking the time not only to walk the streets at night, but for the editing, uploading, etc. Loved this video and the first thing that really amazed me was how well the streets are lit at night. The entire duration of the walk I don't recall seeing a poorly lit area or spooky lane. Loved the Coca-Cola/vending machines located in such random places! What a great idea! Visiting Tokyo is my dream. It just looks incredible and ive heard amazing things about it. Every since i was little ive been obsessed with lights and futuristic looking places. I’m still young but i still feel like I’m running out of time to visit or even live there if I’m lucky
