Laundry that close to the cells is asking for trouble. They can obtain digging implements direct from there without being searched. Expect tunnels to start appearing.
@@JCTheBeard Janitors will as well. What I normally do is place all the prison labour stuff in a separate block away from the cells. A checkpoint between both buildings makes sure no contraband gets through especially the non metallic digging equipment that can be picked up in the laundry and workshop and narcotics from the cleaning cupboard.
Yeah I'd love to see more of this before the new 3D version of this game gets released, also as a good way to differentiate from only playing Timberborn
I have never played this game and have only seen one other YTer play it, but Spiff doesn't play anything as intended, so I have basically no idea how this game is supposed to work, other than making me grateful for not having to go to prison.

first time i've seen this series even though i've known of it. looks a bit complicated if your first playing so i can tell you've played before :3 neat to watch
I have a few hundred hours in the game but the vast majority of it was about 7-8 years ago so it's a nice chance to "re-learn" everything. Thanks for watching!
Hot water actually wasn't a thing in the game until one of the later expansions. I've never played with it because it didn't exist when I first got the game almost a decade ago.
Please work towards general cleaning/janitors for the prison! That’ll improve the general happiness of the prisoners quite a bit, and also my viewing enjoyment. It hurts seeing so much mess.
In general? Make sure the yard is accessible, guards unlock all the doors to get to it and there are things to do in the yard. It doesn't always work perfectly though, especially if guards are slow to unlock gates.
@@JCTheBeard in one of the final updates the devs ruined the game by making yard time not mandatory. They'll only go now if they have a need to be filled but they used to always go at the schedule time before said update. Made me stop playing it was such a stupid decision by them
Why would you put showers above toilets and next to a canteen, in public I might add. That just makes it look silly and bizarre. Why couldn't you build a separate shower room?
Much more efficient for eliminating the shower need by making them accessible at essentially any time. The separate shower room requires its own hour block that could otherwise be made free time or eating and concentrates dirty (read: irritable) prisoners in one small space for a mandated amount of time. If a prisoner is finished eating or otherwise has nothing else to do, they can clean themselves at their leisure and not let their hygiene meter build up to the red level every day.
More of this please. PS. Food is a basic human right, one that is currently being denied to a group of people being occupied by a terroristic group of settlers. Please say a prayer for the hungry children, mothers, and fathers struggling to stay alive in Palestine.

For the prisoners to use showers while feeding, the showers need to be in the canteen area, not a shower area next to the canteen
