Thank you for showing us how to use it. Looked for videos for a while. Also what to watch out for was really helpful. About to try it out. Wish me luck😜

At 21:41 you mentioned that the square is off on the miter. I have the same problem on the one I just bought today. If you rotate the miter to the 0 on the other side it should align perfect with 0; it did with mine. This means that miter cuts will have to be done on the right side of the blade to insure accuracy.

Just bought this package deal at HD online for $159 and found this video. Great job on the video! I really like your editing skills and appreciate the work you put in making this vid. Was really trying hard to understand how the package deal which includes the saw, stand, and two blades costs $60 less online than the saw w/blade only. Oh well, seems like a score to me, especially since I was also looking at the more expensive Porter Cable 7” sliding table wet tile saw and this is just for home DIY use. This was a no brainer purchase, especially with decent reviews and a lifetime parts and service warranty. Thank you for the vid.

great score. Yep a great buy for the DIY'r. I'm only going to use it for 2 bathrooms and a few small jobs that come up. I replaced 4 tile missing in the kitchen for a customer that was selling their home and needed a few little thing touched up prior. This was perfect for that little job.

I just finished using the saw and it functioned without a flaw, well worth the cost.

Edward that's great to hear. When I return from Texas I'll be starting a LOT of work on my house which include a remod of a hall bathroom. This is why I got thin in preparation for the work I'll be doing. Always get the deals when you can.

The saw with the stand is currently not available from Home Depot, so for $129+tax I purchased just the saw. Your review was very helpful in helping me decide on my purchase.

I know that feeling all to well. I got this for that reason but I have used it on a few small repair jobs for kitchens and other tile jobs but I really hope nothing happens next year I need to remodel our guest bath. Just have to see what the new year brings. For what I do this was a great buy. Thanks for viewing

I noticed the tile is floating at the tip when you were making your bevel cuts. Seems like it need more support at the bottom besides the pressure youre applying at the back of the tile. I think this would be a good backsplash and shower pan saw. Ill run my 7" or 10" for the rest. nice review.

Achilles your correct. It’s great for that. I’m not a tile person so for me it’s great for my projects and some small repair jobs like missing or broken tile in kitchens and such. Great for getting the replacement piece cut to size but I didn’t like the bevel feature but showed it for the review. Personally I haven’t used it at all. Great comment thanks for viewing.

Hey there, great video, very informative. I just purchased one but find the blade rubs against the decking metal. Other than that, works for what I use it for which is cutting Jade stone.

how very cool. Jade, I would thing you would need a different blade for that. Guess it not too hard of a stone.Never thought of cutting stone on this. Thanks for the tip and thanks for viewing.

@@TheShackHome so far I've only been cutting small pieces of Jade. I am soon to cut a large piece for a Jade Mere so we'll see how it goes.

Actually the directions tell you if its off, to take the knob and move the angle selector to zero and then you use the hex key and screw the knob on again.

I grabbed one too! I saw the $99 Black Friday deal online. I checked my store for availability online & it said they had 5...that was on my lunch break. When I got to the store after work around 5:15 they only had 1 left! Was a great buy for the backsplash project I'm starting this weekend. Got it all set up & wanted to check UA-cam for videos on using it. Thanks allot for the review & demo video!! 👍

Thank you for the video. I have seen on another video that the metal will scuff the tile if you cut with the face side down. With a round blade and tight cuts, face down is obviously preferred from time to time. Did you happen to experience this "scuffing"? Thanks. bg

Hi, is it possible to use this to cut bricks, concrete pavers, and granite, or I'd need a better model? Thanks.

NICE CUT? Get a better diamond edge blade and push real slow. Then you will see a nice cut. You chipped up all the edges with the blade that came with saw.

This saw sucks compared to the porter cable one with a sliding table. Have both. Worst part is the fence. They’re almost the same price.

Do you think you could use it with a wood blade in it as well ?

    • @TheShackHome
      @TheShackHome  5 років тому

Will no it's not made for that. I don't know If a wood blade would even fit on this. Cool Idea a dual purpose portable table saw for wood or tile. Thanks for viewing.
