Now that I’ve read RoW a second time now I think you’re right. I think I was just a bit disappointed with the direction the book went. Oathbringer is my favorite out of the Stormlight archive so far and I think that’s just a really hard book to follow up on. So RoW really isn’t as bad as I thought.

rhythm of war is probably one of the more heavy books in terms of character growth in the stormlight archive
