GOOD RIDING COOPER WEBB THANK YOU FOR STEPPING UP FOR OUR COUNTRY YOU GUYS DONE A VERY GOOD JOB IT IS HARD TO STEP DOWN IN SIZE AND PUSH WHEN YOU HAVE THE BEST ON THE SMALL BIKES AROUND YOU IN ALL HONESTY YOU DONE GREAT AND AGAIN THANK YOU ALWAYS BEEN YOUR FAN
I had a feeling we had a great team going over. All three love a good fight, and none of them back down when it get's tough, and they didn't. As an American I'm really proud of all three.
Jeff Ward last competed in the 125cc class in 1984. The following seasons Jeff he rode 250s and 500s as well as in the des Nations in 1985 and 1987, 250 and 500 respectively. For the 1988 Motocross des Nations, Jeff was selected to ride in the 125cc class. For Bob Hannah who had not competed on a 125cc bike since the 1970s, Bob rode a works Suzuki 125cc in the 1987 MXdN. And of course O'Show in the 1986 edition. From the other end, Eric Geboers won the 125cc world championship in 1983 and then rode the MXdN when the event was all 500cc bikes vs full time 500cc riders, bar Jeff Ward who was a 125 riders in outdoors and riding the 500s in the MXdN. O'Show in 1981, 125 to 500. It is not easy to switch capacities for one off events so it is a credit jumping from one capacity to another.
I had tipped the podium to be Australia, Netherlands, US in that order. So it pretty much fell into place as I expected and wanted. It was fantastic to see Australia to finally have won the Motocross des Nations. It would be neat to see an Aussie to be the MXGP world champion. There has been a couple of Australians as runners up but no world motocross champion.
What *Webb* said is true *Stewart* talks about *MXON* the same way & was even putting his name out there the few years of his career but he wasn't riding good enough to make the team
Most Americans live in a bubble of merica ,they don't know what it's like to sample different parts of the world like coop says the Moto x in Europe fan wise is another level
And all the fans were bitching for the riders about this race and pay and blah blah. Meanwhile riders are out here giving up time off to go race "for free."
Coop is a legend for showing up for TEAM USA
Yep..true legend AND patriot.
Cant teach everything to the young guns.
Coops got the dawg in him

O’meara was on Villopoto level small bike riding in ‘86.
Great ride coop
The fact that the Euros wanna beat the US so bad pretty much tells the whole story there: US Series>GP

I honestly thought France would take it again. I had US in fifth. They outperformed my expectations.
@@frankiek2269 ....they were very good. It was on MXGP form that I had the Dutch on the podium.
You guys stood up a took the challenge, well done!???

FIRE RODGER we need an American MX-ON coach.
MX 2: Thanks for the insight Cooper, maybe I will WATCH MX2 before deleting after all.
American Hero.
Beyond Money I also think some of the young guys who turn it down believe they'll have plenty of other chances to go & THAT's NOT GUARANTEED
Most Americans live in a bubble of merica ,they don't know what it's like to sample different parts of the world like coop says the Moto x in Europe fan wise is another level
Need track designs from 07-2014
40:33 Deegan saying “No they aren’t paying me to go” is the MOST AMERICAN mindset ever 😂👊🇺🇸 PAY THE ATHLETES!!!

So rude to be texting during an interview. Bad Steve!
Exactly. Your texts are classless when the tops in the sport are talking
was there, i do wish the smoke bombs an air horns were not there
Who is a Steve fan? Tried to watch it to hear Web but man can't stand Steve.
