This was a great running video as well as informative . I was dead set on a Max6 / 1650kv for my Mojave , now after seeing this G2 sensored 2250kv I am rethinking that . I race , so I know how smooth sensored combos are , just never thought about putting it in one of my bashers !
This is smoother than castle and Tekin IMO. I’ve got one in but won’t be able to run it till next week.
What is faster the stock electronics or the Max 8 G2?
U may want to paint (during race days) a white or orange line on top of the dirt jumps so everyone can see where the jumps are. Especially useful for out of towners.

I have a funny mojave story... went to a local hobby shop to pick up a mojave they had one brand new, so I buy it take it back home and notice it’s a V1 with the older blx electronics, I would have just kept it but I payed for the V2 so I exchanged it for a UDR haha
I've been looking into the max 6 1650kv setup for my talion exb. But now seeing so many vehicles running on the new max 8 and it handling so well, I think I'm gonna get the new max 8 instead.

I'm assuming you've run the max6 in a few trucks and am curious if the max8 g2 truly is as capable on 6S as the 160A max6 on 6S with something like a 4092/1650kv motor in an outcast, kraton or other vehicle.
can the system handle 6s lipos? i recently got the truck and i have been putting up some options parts such as mud guard, chassis cover, cooling fan on the stock motor and waiting for the skid plates for the bottom of the chassis.
What one do you like better the 4s or the 6s?
Would this fit in a traxxas 4tec?
have you had any issues wit the g2 max8 ? reason why im asking i saw a video buddy ran his for maybe 10 mins n up in smoke
The gen2 are buttah kid but I have heard they are burning up?… not sure if they are having manufacturing issues or what but I haven’t had that happen to me yet.

Comparison video to a castle system?
Let me get mine in and I’m sure I have something to do that. But right now I’d have to say the castle is still a little more punchy but this beats it in every other way. Also I don’t know the settings on this esc, the punch could be turned down.

Since the RTR comes with a 2050KV motor, do you think it won’t overheat with this 2250kv on 6s?

I’ve bought it, so Will find out soon… will use it with a dual fan motor mount though.
All about gearing and outside temperatures, I just bought the g2 for Mojave instead max6 1650 , with winter it actually be faster also lighter . With Temps outside 50 degrees and cooler fans allow higher kv more speed
Over at Jason Perrin's channel, his G2 went up in smoke - any issues with your system ?
Nothing so far have run on 4s and 6s
I think Jason's was a fluke or just happened to shock the esc with the sledge you know traxxas is funny designs for thier stuff only look size case on traxxss esc and other brands have a plate mounting plate to take the shock

Huh ? Jason was only one that went up . No ? Because I like the old max 8 and need a couple . No way it can be as durable I have over 100 runs on one , the wires are disintegrated its so used up

Yeah, you can find many more people with problems on forums & facebook groups where it's way easier to post & get fast help. YT is more for basic info & entertainment when it comes to RCs.

Not necessarily. When esc starving it's increasing Temps.

@@deontay79ify no. With more volts the esc requires less current, current generates heat. It’s simple. Give it a google mate
The original max8 for me has been terrible. Can’t handle an erevo on 6s worth a damn
