I spent years thanny ratting, i never warped to zero. You end up caught in the middle of that space junk and if you need to warp out in a hurry you end up bouncing off of it and can't get into warp. If i remember right i would warp in at 70, align to my safe and then release the fighters, microwarp them to the first target and away we go.
And to avoid ganking, always keep you ship moving towaards a safe point or a POS.

Was thinking about getting into carriers for ratting. Probably not the best option. Do you have any recommendations for doing Havens quickly?
Torpedo Golem
I run 3 accounts, 1 Ishtar and 2 Gila. Tech 2 Drones with good skills and fast response on drones and moving to next Haven give me 10Mil Ticks equaling 30 Mil. Would be faster with 3 Ishtars of course but then you might have to wait for respawn. This is cheaper and better than doing carrier or Golem ratting. Also you can warp out fast so as long as you are paying attention you will be fine.

I have heard that if you use tecch 2 fighters and lose 1 in a haven, you already lost all the money on the haven. You must be excelent capital pilot to not waste ISK ratting

This fit can run Crab beacon? Btw you say ratting in carrier now no more effective, so what happens to it? I leave this game too long to know what's new features. Planning on comeback.
Why did you warp to haven at 0, you should not do that and why is if some neutral come to you they allways warp at 0.And anothor reason is if you warp at 0 sometimes you land inside the anomaly and begin to bump and if you need to warp you can't.
He was more than likely on the SiSi server when recording, so probably was not worried. However, your advice and warning is sound.
The only acceptable and intentional bumping with caps is/was bowling with Titans.
Usually come in at 50 or more. But also I don’t recommend ratting in them they are not really efficient.

Havnt been ganked at all in the 2 years I’ve been in null.. plus I don’t use carriers for ratting they are basically suitcases.
Carrier ratting isn't a thing anymore since someone cried to CCP that people were making too much ISK.
