Another great song from a great man. I don't know how he does it. Embracing new sounds while retaining his musical essence. You can clearly tell this is a Paul Weller song, yet it doesn't sound like any of his previous songs. After all these years I still look forward to hearing what he comes out with next. I don't like them all, but I love most of them. It's been a great ride so far, and I'll be here until the end. Thanks for the post. Peace.
As always, when Weller is in love, there's a dreamy fall-in- love song to capture the moment. A sympathetic and romantic video melds well with the words. Nice touch with the Make Art Not War in the present, politically charged atmosphere in Paris and Syria. A lush love song for Romantics everywhere. x
Whether you're a biased Weller fan or not (I am ) this has to be a track that will become a classic on the live (outdoor) circuit. One for the lovers of the world who know the course doesn't always run smooth.

Saturns' Pattern is a great album...Saw the concert in June of 2015 in Chicago, and it was fantastic...I was right in the front row just a few feet from, Andy, and Paul....he stuck around for a while outside by his tour bus, and was talking with fans, and was very gracious, and amiable....I felt like I was talking to Lennon, or McCartney....I am a huge fan...

I regret to be the naysayer here (i know, anything slightly negative is verbotin in this world) With all due respect, I sincerely feel the video could have been much better. With such a tremendously lovely and melodic song, one that certainly evokes the passing of time within the environs of myriad cities, a film about a woman's lovely gaze mixed with trite cut aways of the city, I know you have could have, with the City of Lights as your muse, produced a much more thoughtful, less cliched film based on an otherwise, near perfect song. It is not enough to simply add in these expected elements of 'beauty against beauty'. How about a real narrative? some kind of dramatic structure? mystery? the vagaries of love within city streets? Just a thought.
I genuinely applaud and respect anyone for making any form of art, but i also believe in fully challenging oneself in making it.
Fantastic song, such a great piece of music that has so much feeling to it..but the video is boring. I got bored of the soft blurred focus of a girl walking round Paris. She isn't very interesting, what she does isn't very interesting, and to be honest she looks bored, which is a very hard thing to be in Paris. Shame as it is a brilliant tune.
