I tried one on in an Omega Boutique here in Australia. It looks honestly much better in person than it does online. As soon as I put it on, I wanted it. Luckily I was one of the first people on the list so my time should come soon!
I just got the Omega Speedmaster 3511.50 (JDM model from the ‘90s powered by the Valjoux 7750 automatic chronograph movement). The 38.5mm case with a 18mm vintage Speedmaster bracelet and a price tag of less than €2000 makes this an irresistible VALUE FOR MONEY MONSTER for people who prefer smaller watches. 👌🏼

The Speedmaster is the perfect watch, in my opinion. It matches both casual and formal settings. This white dial with the red font just looks insane, too!
Just got mine 2 days ago. Absolutely loving it! It's much more concise and versatile than I expected when I saw the pictures online. It's not as traditional but I think it kept most of the moonwatch vibe and also introduced some modern elements. Also it is still a strap monster!
My two cents…. I called the Omega boutique in a mayor city in Texas, U.S. and they have like 20 watches at the store but they were already sold. Apparently, they took deposits before the release. The watch is not available online but if you go to the boutique you can leave a deposit and get the watch in about three weeks.

This watch vaporized my brain. I've already got the Seamaster 300m in black, so I don't want to do the white. And the black face Speedy moonwatch makes me look old. But the white ... woo wee. Yeah baby.
I wouldn't have bought the black faced speedy in hesalite or sapphire, despite its beauty and its iconic status. I would, however, buy this. Imo, it retains the iconic status, adds a modern slant and increases the beauty 10 fold. I will own one!
I've often heard people compare the speedmaster to the daytona from an esthetics perspective, but as much as I wanted to love the speedmaster, I didn't think it was in the same league as the daytona. This new version changes everything. Not only do I now think it's in the same league, I feel that it could possibly be even a bit nicer than the daytona
New watch is a bit of a stretch. We all got used to calling them new since Rolex/we make/s such a big deal over a different colour dial, but it's just a new dial finish.
She's so beautiful, I'll have to be financially stable in every sense before purchasing my first piece. The best thing to do with your money is to invest rightly because money left saving will end up with no returns.
This is very true, I think you should only buy a luxury piece worth 300k-400k if your net worth is 20m and earn 2m a year. Than it makes more sense, I'll keep investing untill I achieve this

Much like my favorite Omega 300m: It is the white dial version. Omega does white dials better than others. The keys seem to be the excellent depth and contrast, with black indices and hands in both cases. Heaven help us if they ever make a white lacquer aqua terra with black indices and hands. Cheers!
Tried it on yesterday. Incredible in person. Sometimes press photos create expectations that are quashed when viewing it in person. This is not one of those watches. The glossy lacquered dial works beautifully, it does not look cheap despite being flat white. It had so much depth with the recessed sub dials and black coated markers. A little surprisingly they didn't go for a ceramic insert and black gold polished markers.
Very nice. Waves my 145.012-67 Speedy 321 on mighty 1980s Omega 1450 bracelet. There's 2 era's in the Speedy universe : all 321s produced from 1957 until 1968, and then everything else until today. Having one from that genesis era feels extraordinary.
We all have our opinions, for me, the best speedy with a white dial is the Mark 40 that celebrates Speedy 40th yr anniversary. It was only produced 1 or 2 yrs for the Japanese market but what a dial!!!!
It is bloody gorgeous just can't believe the prices now though. Back in 2018 I was offered a Moon watch and the new Seamaster 300 for £6000 from an AD in Leeds. Wish I'd pulled the trigger....
Omega knew that the white dial SMP300 was one of the better selling colorways. They went into their archives and found the justification to make a white dial Speedy.
Looks good. But manual winding is still a deal breaker for most people, because we are all busy enough as is, no one needs extra chore of manually winding our watches.
Very beautiful. May go well with my 1861 Speedy (a good choice for you Adrian.. prefer it to 3861 for many reasons)... maybe some day.. just hope the bracelet is a little less hair pinchy than the 3861 I tried on.. and the sapphire doesn't have that annoying white ring.. otherwise yes.. beauty

It’s awesome… I love the fact that they don’t change a lot… Just tweak it a little… I’ve always considered it pretty much perfect, for what it is, right from the start… So new tech every now and then, but keeping it more or less unchanged is why speed master always flirts with being the perfect watch
Smoking hot!!!!! Love at first sight, no need to look further. This gives the Speedy a shot of rejunivation. And I thought white dials were not for me...I was so wrong.
They do have a few colours in the Speedmaster catalogue , but adding those applied markers instead of painted lume makes this into a base for a slimmed-down and more colourful range focused on the classic design. Think of this with a blue bezel, hands and markers, or with a green dial, for example. I don't know how well the Speedy '57 sells, in its 3 colour variants, but I bet the Speedy pro in the same colours would beat it.
Just at the moment the speedmaster is bang in vogue they bring us a modern looking variant. It’s not “classic” but it pops and it’s close enough that it’s unmistakably a speedy
I too would pick white dial but id have sapphire crystal over acrylic,but itd be nice if i could get both colour's but alas my pockets dont reach that far. Great choice.
I just love white-dialled chronographs, they look so awesome. I just got myself the panda Seiko speedtimer (my budget is not Omega-level yet lol) and I absolutely love it. Such a strap monster too.
This one is absolutely epic. I had a Speedy back in 2018 and sold it after about a year. I reckon I’ll be revisiting this white dialled variant though!

Massive Hit for me..The dial is fresh..sharp.and inspiring .it makes me smile .Yes I love the classic black dial speedy but the latest dial in white with a dash of red is fantastic

Applied indices are a nice upgrade over the black and explains the 2g weight difference
and slight price bump!... but I agree, I like it!
The indices are applied - that is a deviation from the standard hesalite or sapphire version. I assume that accounts for those extra two grams.
Probably along with the extra $100 price tag when compared to the sapphire sandwich

I think this piece was worth absolutely the wait -- and it's absolutely gorgeous.

If you still own the explorer 2 then I would tell you get the black sapphire sandwich. But this watch is absolutely awesome.
