- I wanted to highlight one specific Pokémon that has proven to be the most useful, and it is none other than Metagross. In just about every aspect of this game, I found that I’ve been using this Pokémon more often than others, and I wanted to explore the reasons why.

Mewtwo, Gengar, Melmetal, Zekrom, and Metagross.
My favorite Pokémon by far! It is incredibly powerful, I have 2 100%IVs with Meteor Mash, for everyone that has elite TMs available don’t hesitate to use it in your Metagross, you won’t be disappointed.

I would say that Dragonite is also extremely useful. Useful in raids and is also usable in all 3 battle leagues.
One more plus for Metagross: it is absolutely adorable. I've been walking my Metagross for a while now and it is so cute as it pitter-patters across the map to catch up with me! I didn't expect that with something that basically looks like a machine/robot. I just yesterday taught Meteor Mash to it.
I wouldn't consider it my most useful Pokemon though, that is my 100% Melmetal. It has over 4000CP and Superpower which charges up very fast, so it can beat down a lot of things through sheer power alone.
Got a Hundo during the test your mettle event just after they had the event to get meteor mash.. was going to try to hold out but just used an Elite TM on it this morning with Xerneas hitting raids.

Beldum was one of my first comm days, I never knew at the time what is significance was, but definitely Metagross has become one of my fave mons, and I'm happy to have a great team of them, I hope it comes back as a comm day classic one day so my gf can get a great team too
I have already a level 50 100%IV Shadow Metagross
Literally got a hundo from a random field research during the final hours of the championship event back in August and evolved it just in time to get Meteor Mash. Since then, I've gotten plenty of candies from the test your mettle event, but I lack the candies to power it up further past level 40. Also still working on best buddying it since I have no poffins.
Absolutely love Metagross, it's probably my 2nd favourite mon of all time behind Gengar.
Easy the most unique pseudo legendary with a cool design, solid moves and is an overall beast. Proud to have a hundo Metagross as well as 4 91% + shadows
I really like excadrill he’s really good for taking out gyms he’s good in master league for fairy’s also he’s pretty good in raids
I started the second day of pokemon go but haven't played much since 2018 and I started getting into it recently and my Highest cp pokemon was a 14/15/14 meteor mash metagross and I have been using it for gyms defending pvp and raids i also beat alot of pokemon like garchomp and exedrill with it despite them being key losses
I had a 15/14/14 shadow metagross that I got two years ago. I can’t remember when but I ended up purifying it and I honestly regret it.

a 98% IV Shadow Metagross
a 96% IV Lucky Metagross
and a 94% IV Shiny Metagross.
all with meteor mash...
but how dafuq am I supposed to get all this XL candy... need a community day classic man...
My best is definitely metagross. Then it would have to be garchomp...then togekiss. That's my masterleague team. I start with garchomp tho. All are 4 star.
It's always been my favorite since I read that it had a mouth like a garbage disposal and would land on, crush and devour other pokemon. Also my second maxed 100% IV in Pokego. Sorry but my Garchomp shundo came first and the shiny Mega look like Waluigi
No Hundos but several 98%, no level 50s yet but I do have 6 lucky shinys, 3 shadow and 7 regular and 2 of the shadows are level 40 plus. I may need to work on using them more

If you have one you wanna use for Gym Defence then keep it under 2300cp. That goes for all your gym defender pokemons.
After 2300cp motivation drops allpt faster.

@@Zaryfoty yes just test it out. Take over a gym and putt in a 1000cp pokemon then go take another gym right away and put in a 2500++++cp pokemon and look at there motivation.
The high cp one will drop motivation ALLOT faster. And the worst jump in CP drain is when the pokemon hit's 2300cp. So hold it under 2300cp. So Max cp 2299
I use mewtwo a lot like i have psystrike lvl 50 mewtwo with the other move changes based on my needs but focus blast was amazing in the master league.
2 98% shadow 96% Metagross, if only Dialga could learn Meteor mash smh
I have a 98% normal Metagross and a 82% shadow Metagross, with 9, 13, 15 IVs. I already know how good it is for I had used my previous 98% with meteor mash, it's just that my first 98% had the chip off it's attack stat, and the other 98% I got is most preferable for it only has the chip off it's stanima making have a slightly higher max CP and slightly better. So that is my best normal metagross that I'd like to max out but I also see how good shadow metagross is doing even more damage and my best Shadow is the 82% and I'm thinking of maxing out my shadow first then wait later in the future to do my 98% normal one
My 96% shiny lucky best buddy Metagross is ready to be Mega Evolved! It’s one of my best. I also have a gem, thanks to Arlo I got a shiny shadow Metagross
Honestly I can't argue with you. Metagross is very meta(no pun intented) and it has very well rounded stats
i only have 2 elite charge tm. should i burn both on metagross? i pretty much new so i dont have all those legacy move. but i got some good metagross from test your metta
I had stopped playing when it had it's com day, but since coming back I caught over 800 of it's evolutions caught and no hundo. My best is 15/15/14 lvl 50 best buddy.
That is the best normal metagross I have too with those exact stats, best 98% you can get thou as it's most preferable to have a 98% with a chip off it's stanima than a 98% with a chip off it's attack, for the the 98% with the chip off it's stanima is the closest you will get to a Hundo and almost the same. It also would have a slightly higher max CP than a 98% with a chip off it's attack
