G’day John. My current philosophy is to cover more ground. So if it’s lightweight, buried or something that has given me headaches in the past, I’ll leave and get myself in front of more piles. That gives me more chance of finding washers, ACs, Xbox’s, alloy rims, microwaves etc. The weather can affect what I grab also. If it’s raining I don’t want to be standing in the rain digging around. If this was my full time job, I’d likely be even more picky, though I’m not sure until I’m actually in that situation. Do you grab every last bit? Thanks for the question mate 🙂
I like that small movie camera stuff. If you have time to fiddle, they have a nice little board in them. They'll never make you rich, but I like mucking around with things like that.
Took me all day but I finally got to watch the video, blows me away at all the scrap you get to choose from is that an indictment on consumerism or shoddy workmanship.
Good morning sweetie. Looks like a beautiful day in the down under. Great haul good days work for a few hours. You sound so much better today. Thanks for sharing enjoyed watching. Have a wonderful weekend. 🥰
Really do enjoy watching. You had this one packed pretty tight. Awesome! There were times I was saying, put it there, put it right there, and sometimes I think you heard me. LOL😃 If Only, LOL! Can you just imagine if you could do a live stream but instead of having to read the chat, you could hear thousands of us trying to tell you what to do in real time...🤪 It would probably make you go bonkers 😜and quit! LOL 😄Real Question though. Have you thought about using a cargo net on the inside of the trailer across the front of the cage for poles to keep them upright? Of course you would have to find one the right size net but you could also zip tie sections of the net to the cage to create maybe three decent sized vertical pockets, keeping the poles from leaning or falling over but allowing the section to expand as you add more. You could even designate one corner for those aluminum poles you pick up quite often. I also really like the small blue barrels that I've seen you use because they don't seem to take up much space and I have thought they would be perfect to strap in anywhere and use for shorter poles to keeping them contained. I've said it before but Man I LOVE Your Trailer!
Haha that probably would drive me mad 😂 I’ve not thought about a net but have been thinking of a permanent drum for the poles. Yes I’m also loving the trailer too. Thank you for the message Cheryl! 😊

Hey Marc. No never thought of doing this. I rarely take days off. Habit I got from my dad. I have thought about having a second trailer to fill to the max though. Thanks for the ideas though brother 😊
poly ive seen you struggle with a fitting on a waterheater or a wall- heater that you used your 12" cresent wrench to try to get off because it was brass or copper.try using a ( 18" pipe wrench) for those hard fitting you can't get off.

A couple of the tires have decent tread left on them. AND Your picking up grills!! Does your mower guy like the mowers because of the Briggs and Stratton engines? They used to make really good small engines. Well done today! Thanks for the ride along. Have a great weekend!
Yes because it’s been raining so much I was afraid there’d be no scrap, so in they went. Yes my guy prefers the Briggs and Stratton engines. Sometimes he’ll buy the Chinese brand to use the body but rarely. Cheers Vinnie 🤙🤙
Yes they are usually cast aluminium and brass. I actually took one of them off on this run. I think the screws that hold them in end up rusting a lot of the time. Thanks Dave 👍👍
yea you can get dirty aluminum, or take them apart and get clean, its just extra time and alot of effort as most of them are rusted, and the hose can be a pain to cut
Another decent haul. One thing I've noticed in a few videos now, when you find a pan or container or something full of rainwater, you sometimes tip.it out back on the piles? Why not the grass or gutter?
Yeah fair call mate. Should try to look out for my garbos. Does the wheelbarrow I tipped for the tree and bbq water into the gutter make up for it a little?
Pretty good run today, was surprised to see you grab the big grills but hey whatever works right 😉 hope your weekend is amazing much love to you and your family 🥰🤙🏽✝️
Great to see an Australian scrapper, I see loads of videos of bulk waste collections in Australia and literally everything is crushed up and sent to the dump, it's horrific the amount of waste down there and how little is recycled.
You are so fast at breaking all those washers, toys, and microwaves down. Did someone teach you? You learn as you go, or study how to do it? Must say, you are one of the fastest guys on you tube.
Why didn't you remove the electric motor from that mower, or the treadmill? Would only take 10 minutes, so much more money. Again nice haul!!! Nobody ever opens up the grill top for stash or rarely use the bottom

Yes definitely. I’d either scrap my area, unload and stay in the area around the scrapyard, or just head directly to that area. That second lesson is a doozy 🤕😂
