I know this Santa's Village isn't related directly to my original home park in East Dundee, IL, but it looks awesome and has a different collection of rides with similar experiences! Ours closed in 2006 and reopened in 2011 after losing many rides and half the land. I haven't been there in a few years, but they've greatly improved and expanded! Awesome video as well!
Thanks! Very well verbalized and documented. I agree any kid (or Adult kid at Heart) will love this place. My family took me here in the early 60's. Got my Dad's cherished 16mm movies to prove it. Now my kid's & grandson has my videos to recall their visit as well.
Merry Christmas! Thanks for sharing home videos. Mt. Washington cog railway would compliment a visit there. This park would put a smile on my face. Very unique!
My parents took me there as a child during the 1980's. Very cool park. We used to go around Columbus Day weekend and my parents took me out of school for a couple of days. If we went during the week at that time, you literally had the park and all rides practically to yourself! Great times!
@@CanobieCoaster the themeing just looks so cute and detailed for being such a small park, and i would love to see those new scrooge animatronics in person
I think one of those Sunkid Heege Butterfly coasters would do great here as it’d be a first of its kind in America and you could theme it to a sleigh! I also think a Nautical jet ride could work here in the summer.
Dude are you from NH originally? I saw your video talking about how Lake Compounce is almost your home park now. I'm from CT and Lake Compounce was always my home park, but I used to go up to Waterville Valley with my family most summers, and later to go hiking in the white mountains with friends. I've never actually been to this park, but I have a family photo from when I was little on the log flume at Story Land also in NH. I live in Florida now, but I have a family member who owns a property in Keene, so next time I'm up there I'll have to check this place out
Do they allow you to film on the rides (like the Rudolph coaster)? I was bummed when Canobie wouldn’t let me film, but I’ll be going to Santa’s Village this month and really want to get some POVs.
What a terrific, thorough review of all of the amusements and sites at this park. Highly recommend watching this before visiting the park. Awesome job.
Are there rides that you'd call gentle? We're thinking about taking our little one and im currently pregnant so I'd like to do some stuff with them to give dad a break

I've visited both. I prefer the atmosphere of the NH one.
This guy is a legend he goes on all the most intense coasters in the world, but still got time to make it out to Santa’s village for the review
I grew up with the park so I have plenty of experience with it.
Used to go there all the time as a kid, have brought my son a few times as well!
It's great for kids.

Such a great atmosphere.
This aligns perfectly with my YTP. Enjoy it, Mike!
Thanks, I'll check it out during the week when I'm back home.
So many memories! Thank you. It's nice to see what has changed and some of the old rides from the 70's and 80's.
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is indeed a fantastic park for kids, I remember my dad went to Santa's Village in Illinois when he was young, Merry Christmas Canobie Coaster!
Merry Christmas!

I've never been atop Mt. Washington. It's on the to-do list.
I love this park and Story land. Good idea to post this on Christmas.
They were favorites from my childhood.

Lines are usually short here.
i loved this place as a kid in the early-mid 2000s and i would love to go back now as an adult
It has a nice charm.

I'm from Canada and I've been there when I was a kid in the 80's. Can't wait to bring my 2 year old daughter this summer and create magical memories!
Enjoy!
Every time I hear "Do I recommend this park?," I wait to hear the "Absolutely." XD
Lol
Solid review, thanks for the hard work!
You're welcome!
I haven't been there, but I have been to the top of Mt Washington, the same day that I did Vermont's highpoint.
Nice! I still need to go up there.
Happy Holidays, Mister Canobie!
Happy holidays!
This looks like a fantastic park for the little ones. Merry Christmas Mike!
Merry Christmas!
I love this park and plan to come again sometime soon! It’s really unique and family friendly which is what is the best here
The atmosphere is awesome.
Omg! I still go there to this day with my kids. We only live an hour away from both parks and I used to love going as a kid.
Nice!
This is one if my favorite parks. Went there many times by myself and a few times with family and friends.
Such a great atmosphere.
The perfect park review for Christmas. Only problem now is what to do next year and every year afterwards?😄😄
There are more Santa's Village parks.
I went there a few years ago and it was amazing
Glad you liked it!
My grandparents brought me here every year, along with Storyland. Im taking my own daughter this year for her first time
Nice!
I love santas village best park ever my dad works there as a ride coordinator my dad is taking me to santas this sunday
Nice!
Rudy’s coaster operated in my hometown of Hudson NH and I love that fact
Very cool.
I think one of those Sunkid Heege Butterfly coasters would do great here as it’d be a first of its kind in America and you could theme it to a sleigh! I also think a Nautical jet ride could work here in the summer.
Those would be cool additions.
This park has a sister theme park in Bracebridge, Ontario with the same name.
There are a few Santa's Village parks.
This place is my second home!! I am actually going up there tomorrow!
Enjoy!
As a worker here at Santa's village, the minimum for the Rudy coaster is 39 inches
Thanks, that's higher than it was when I was a kid. There was a year I could ride Rudy's but not Polar Coaster (36").
@@CanobieCoaster most of the rides are 36 inches or even toddler rides tho.
Theme park avenue made a UA-cam poop about the Illinois location review that you made.
Yes, I'll have to watch it during the week when I'm home.
My favorite park the staff treats me and dad like family
That's awesome!
Thank u santas is awsome I play the alphabet game over the rides staff is awsome I kargret hi meliane hi Christian
Love santas hi Christian hi meliane hi margret hi lenny

I have always lived in Massachusetts. I used to live on the North Shore. Now I live closer to Providence.
@@CanobieCoaster ah, gotcha

Yes they let you if you have a secured camera.
It's changed alot since I was a kid but it looks fantastic!
It's in great shape.
@@CanobieCoaster it really is!
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas!
I always did the Flume and Skyway Sleigh, both always had long waits so the Flume can have those long waits.
Skyway Sleigh's is usually worse for me.
ive been here 10 times and went on the flume 100 times!
Nice!
What a terrific, thorough review of all of the amusements and sites at this park. Highly recommend watching this before visiting the park. Awesome job.
Thanks!
You forgot to mention about the jingle jamboree animatronic show
That's another classic.
Jingle jamboree is gone
Thanks for the review! Are those real reindeer that are being fed or animatronics?
Real ones
Dude you need glasses, wow guy
Are there rides that you'd call gentle? We're thinking about taking our little one and im currently pregnant so I'd like to do some stuff with them to give dad a break
There's the monorail, train, shooting dark ride, antique cars, and ferris wheel.
This place and story land were the spot when I was a kid
Same!
I hope you will come to Santa's Village: Muskoka Theme Park in Bracebridge, Ontario, Canada.
Maybe one day!
Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas!
UA-cam the Ride! Merry Christmas btw
Thanks, you too!
Oh no! Rudy’s rapid transit is closing this fall! This really sucks, it was one of my first coasters
It was my first.
Someone named Theme Park Avenue made a parody out of this video combined with a few others.
I'll have to watch it.
Polar coaster though
That theme would work here.
