Good to hear. Glad you are getting after one. Hope it turns out nice. What is the chassis you are starting with, and what are you planning on ending up with? I saw something like this once and knew I had to build one. I have already started my next build but am a little bit fatigued. Might take a break for a while. Thanks for the comment.
Yes they are, its really a BLAST and PAINT. As in BLAST and BLAST and BLAST. Luckily I have a few parts sleds I stripped down so had some of the needed bits here and there, rubber goods, etc.... The rest were available from normal sources like Dennis Kirk (Slides) , MFG Supply (Shock) , E bay (Spring Slides), Rivets (McMaster Carr and E bay). Thanks for the vote of confidence.
Looks great. I’m about to to the exact same process. Thanks for the encouraging video.

@@Letsfixsomething26, I got a 72 panther 303 in decent shape. I plan to clean it up and use it occasionally for short rides.
Perfect. They sound so cool. Good luck on the project!! Hopefully you start your own channel and post videos
Nice
Those skids can be a mother brother some times. Nice work fella.

@@Letsfixsomething26 hopefully see you at the shows.
Great vid!
The skids are the worst part of restoring a Cat.
I’m too cheap to just simply drop the skid and all the parts off for powder coat. That makes it a lot of work to dismantle and rework all those parts
