Dull Weather Photo Editing: Lightroom BW Example

Watch this full example of editing a dull weather photo into a dramatic black-and-white landscape image using only Lightroom.
Photographing the landscape in dull weather conditions is difficult, and so is editing your photos. That’s why, in this video, I want to share the processing steps for one of my recent dull weather photos using Adobe Lightroom.
The video explains each step required to transform an overcast, dull photo into a dynamic black-and-white image. It also explains why we make these changes so you can apply the same approach to editing your own photography. Whilst I demonstrate the editing using Adobe Lightroom, you can apply the same approach using most RAW converters.

Nice video. I see Lightroom has come on since I stopped using it. I’ll happily stick to C1 though.

C1 is great and I use it for most of my Fuji work. You can use the approach to editing dull weather photos as I did in this video. Perhaps it’s even easier in C1 as it produces higher contrast images by default.
