I came across your channel last week. I've pretty much binge watched most of your other videos. Your attention to detail is incredible, as is your skill. I subscribed after watching the first video. Many thanks for your content. 👍
I don't know why, but my mind's eye pictured a V8 crank as some horribly complicated monstrosity. I forgot that each big end journal carries two rods. Doh!
Spot on - that crank grinder is easily my favourite machine in your shop; looks the best and is very satisfying 👍🏻
Thanks mate, it's my favourite too
Usual attention to detail that I'm sure will make a reliable and powerful engine - nice!
Thank you.. hopefully.
What a skill! Amazing to watch you work Sir! 😉
Thank you.
Loving all the long content, mesmerizing work ,thank you for taking time out to make these videos 😊
No worries, thanks for viewing
Watching the crank grinder bobbing up and down sent me to sleep, i had to watch the video again from the start 😅 .
Lol.. it is mesmerising

Yeah there a great thing.. you can get some that look more complicated
Very nice work James.
The 350 came out nice.
Good to see you working on some American Iron.👍
Have a great evening.
Thanks Ed, hope you're ok.
Nice job. How does the wheel follow the profile of the crank pin ?
Thank you.. it has adjustable fingers that follow the journal, when the dial is turned it opens up to grind the journal
@@graceenginedevelopments Ah thanks for that. Perhaps next time you show the grinder you could show that feature? 👍👍
On the crank grinder how is the slurry handled with the grinding particles ?
Ceramic Kit
I will do. I've got a few to do before we move the grinder over to the new workshop
I have mesh to catch the waste. It needs cleaning after a few geinds
Thanks for another interesting video. May be a silly question but are both chucks driven?
thanks again.
Hiya.. no only the left side is driven.
superb job as always
Thanks Mike.
Me again sorry how many times do you have to dress the stone?
I dress the stone once per crank.
