Albert took the "Children look like frogs to me" personally-
Ironically, Prince Albert's favorite child was his oldest daughter Victoria. I believe that he saw this young prince as a disappointment.
Yeah, many historians think That Bertie was dyslexic which was why Albert thought him to be simple minded and not a good fit to be king
Plus she blamed him for albert’s death and both parents thought he was a disappointment
Meanwhile Victoria’s favorite was Beatrice, and she thought she was a beautiful baby
He was a rake like his grandfather. That is why he was a disappointment.
❤❤❤❤❤
Having 9 kids to raise and an empire to run really took a toll in Victoria
Yes it was hard for victoria
@@lenoraphuahjiahui8809 and the husband dying early
@@NadiaGirl1 yes it is her husband died before her in 1901.
I don't think it helped she had them so close together. It's suspected she suffered from post-partum depression.
@@charlirenner193 a lot of historians agree that Victoria may have suffered post-partum depression
It’s mind boggling she did that NINE TIMES.

In other words we have a crown prince
Prince of Wales is basically the British equivalent to a Crown Prince. Just like how Spain have the Prince(ss) of Asturias, Belgium have the Duke/Duchess of Brabant and the Netherlands has the Prince(ss) of Orange.
@@rebekahsegun8319 Can you please explain to me about Netherland's royal heir being a prince(ss) of Orange? As in the fruit? How did it became known with that title?
@@gregorysaugustine5236 Orange is the name of the Dutch ruling family: House of Orange-Nassau.
@@rebekahsegun8319 Is the name have any relationship to the fruit or is it just another coincidence? A mistranslation from Dutch to English?

ITS a Boy! She kept her Promise. After Vicky.(" We'll have a Boy next time")
I thought that episode was Vicki birth
Why is she not happy to see that her son is okay, and said that he including other children look like a frogs?
Start of post-partum depression.
@@Magdalenkaization Oh, that's really sad I can't believe they never had a good relationship.
She hate giving birt
Queen Victoria notoriously hated babies. Like, ALL babies, not just her own. She was fine with children once they were no longer babies. She and her eldest son Bertie (the baby in this clip) never got along well though, even when he was an adult.
Mostly she was mad that she had sons. She wanted another queen after her
I think Albert was a bit unfair to his son.
Could you elaborate?
@@toba802 because his favourite child was their eldest daughter
@@ameliaflynnhayes oh ok. But wouldn’t that mean he was unfair to his other 4 children as well?
@@toba802 I guess you can say that
Umm ok but jennas acting??? LIKE HELLO

They used forcep to get the baby's out.
Wouldn’t that hurt?
It’s a normal medical procedure at that time
But now it’s proved to be harmful
