[Paris] French Prisoner Transport Vehicles With Lights & Siren!

Captured here are various vehicles of the French prison administration service (Administration Pénitentiaire), including a prisoner transport bus, passing through the Montparnasse neighborhood of Paris. The first response video also captures an unmarked police car responding to an unknown call in the same area.

If I'm not mistaken that blue light is magnetic and normally on the roof, I don't know what they're doing.

@@thedongaming9994 Yes, it should be magnetic, but honestly it would make little difference even if it was in the roof of the car. A tiny little beacon like this is simply not powerful enough to stand out.

@@TGGGlobalEmergencyResponses Why more leds? the beacons is here only to be seen by drivers in front ( way better than lights in the front of the car because it's to low in a traffic jam. Maybe a bit light, but for an unmarked vehicle. It's way cheaper than doing a christmas tree for a second zone vehicle

I presume these can't be very high security prisoners, as they're basically standard buses and don't appear to be armoured

I am not sure. The bus did seem to be fairly well secured with actual cells/ cages inside and an additional escort vehicle.

Inside the bus, individual cells are specifically provided for the safe transport of prisoners.
The prison staff of the Ministry of Justice, who carry out the transport of detainees, have specialized training and push for this type of mission under the Judicial Extraction Service of the prison administration.
All agents must be armed for their missions and there are at least 2 vehicles.
Its missions are frequent in Paris and are in urban areas.

Detainees are transported either in cars or vans. Depending on the dangerousness of the inmate, the security measures are adapted. (numbers of prison guards, weapons, etc.),

My dad worked alot in prisoners scout, here in Brazil they are called Penal Police, they stay inside prisons and scout prisoners to other prisons, the buses here are only used by an specific department called "command of special police operations" they are heavily trained penal police man that are called when prisons gets out of control and they have to bring back order by banging rubber rounds, alot of gases and blunt lol, but also when heavy amout of prisoners need to be transferred, they do the same thing, one bus and 1 car behind, everyone with shotguns and pistols.

@@EmergencyResponsesBallaratReal Presumably routine transfers between prisons/ detention facilities and court houses I would say. Not sure if something special was going on that day (filmed all of these within less than an hour) or if they often come through that area.
