I could also add the names of these fire vehicles. In Poland, medium fire-fighting vehicles are marked with operational numbers. In the State Fire Service or in the Rescue and Firefighting Units they have the following numbers: Medium fire trucks (21 First Departure, 22 Second Departure. 23 is the Third Departure) 25 means heavy fire trucks 52 This number refers to fire ladders 90,91 are operational or rescue and reconnaissance vehicles In the case of volunteer fire brigades, it is different because they often have numbers ending with 9 or 7. (7 denotes units outside the KSRG (National Rescue and Firefighting System) and 9 denotes units in this system. KSRG allows such units to travel outside their region or district in which they are located.

W Polsce strazacy naduzywaja sygnalow dzwiekowych i to bardzo. Wlaczaja je za kazdym razem obojetnie czy trzeba czy nie. Kazdy kierowca chce sie pochwalic jaki ma sygnal. W zeszlym roku jak jechali na pomoc Szwedom to trabili przez cala droge nawet jadac przez las po pustej drodze. Wygladalo to komicznie a kolesie robili za wiesniakow do kwadratu. W tym samym czasie jechali tez Niemcy i oni uzywali wylacznie sygnalow swietlnych co uwazam za wystarczajace.

Poland is not eastern Europe. Poland is direct inthe center of Europe and US wailing sirens are very rare here.
Britain has had wail and yelp sirens for many years. I preferred the 2 tone horns.
