Hi, Caleb's Memaw! I use Allen Tetreault's 4mm Edible Pearls but since he isn't at Global Sugar Art I'm not sure where to get them. His were great and I never had issues with them bleeding into my royal icing. I hope you can find them.
You can use different consistencies depending on what kind of eyes you want. I usually use 15-second icing so the eyes will be nice and full looking. Sometimes I go a little thicker so they'll be even fuller. Just keep in mind, the thicker your icing is the fuller your eyes will be. If your icing is thin, your eyes will be thin and they'll break easier. ;)
What brand of 4mm edible pearls do you use and do they bleed!

What brand of 4mm beads do you use, and do they bleed?
Thanks for the video
Great video!
Well done!
I love your step-by-step tutorials--I'm a visual learner and these are so helpful! Quick question--what consistency icing is best for these eyes?
