In all honesty, I thought that Alden was going to be the television version of Dante from the comics and get together with Maggie since they shared a good number of scenes together. But this, I didnt expect this to happen at all. Well at least Enid got to be happy again before she died, though it looked like she got more out of Alden than she did with Carl.
Alden was gonna be the TV Dante but Maggie left so they turned him into Enid's boyfriend. But now that Maggie will be back, they introduced a real Dante. Alden will be taking comic Dwight's role instead.
