I'm partial to a Joe Satriani style delay....with some dirty....but with that blend of getting clear sustained notes but can also achieve some riffy crunchy chords.
I just bought the Evermore, to replace my RV-6. The Orion is out of this world good. Heavenly too. All three pedals are a winer in my book. I'm not a big reverb guy but UA puts some special sauce on their stuff.
I am old school in that I only use FX that can work on any tune I know. In short I have no use for pedals that tell me what to play or compete with what I am playing. The UA compact Series with the Heavenly, the Orion and the 1176 Compressor we did not hear today are bullet proof choices. Not cheap but affordable and check all the boxes. I expect I will eventually get all 3. There are barely any companies that make more than one pedal I would or have bought let alone 3. Considering my rig live has 58 pedals on it and every single one gets used to cover my 32 tunes it is saying a lot about how good I feel the UA Compact series are.
Hearing all these effects in mono made something obvious to me that I hadn’t considered before. If you’re going for a subtle effect mono works just fine, but when you really up the mix or the decay time, things become really crowded down the middle. This was really apparent on reverbs. I liked the room sound but lush sounds and long decay times really need stereo.
Man, I say it again. I can't get over how good that PRS sounds.. I'm going to have to get one someday.. I need another guitar like a need a hole in the head.. 😛.. What's funny is that no matter how many guitars I get, I always seem to go back to my Charvel eventually and it's like home.. It's a reverse headstock 1991 with a factory Schaller floyd you can't knock out of tune if you threw it against the wall.. It just works.. Plus, it has the best factory paint job. Reverse headstocks rock too! Makes me relive my old days.. 😛 I would love to find a Doug Aldrich Jackson. He for awhile played a round top bodied Jackson with reverse headstock back in the day.. I'd love to find one, but I NEVER see them. Someday maybe.. Those pedals sound excellent. Sorry for getting off tangent.. Very cool.. Delays always sound cool, especially the old tape echo types and this thing does it excellent sir! Great demo my friend.. Very cool.. Very cool..
I need a one size fits all easy reverb for my guitar. I play fuzz mostly, but also synthwave... Room and plate are my favorite. So, Heavenly, Evermore, or Golden?
How do you like your echoes, minty fresh or crusty?
Crusty and old like me.. 😛, but I like both.. 🙂

My own favorite is the Orion. Your opening demo setting reminded me of 2112. And you just have to love a pedal with a control labeled Wonk.

I just borrowed an RV6 to do a video with funnily enough! It's a decent all rounder but never quite reaches the "magic" the UA stuff has.
Really curious to hear more Room sounds with much shorter decays like INXS.
The evermore and Orion sound incredible 🎉
What's the track you played over at the start Leon sounds nice..???????..great review as always 😊

58 pedals! You got a run down of the rig anywhere I can see/read about it?

I don't mind the plate in mono but the 224 hall modes definitely sound better in stereo

There's a gold charvel so-cal for sale here that is SUPER tempting. Would love to grab one some day.
@@LeonTodd You would probably love it. They play great brother!!!

Golden, the stereo options are with the extra $
@@LeonTodd honestly I don't use stereo in my guitar... Im strictly mono. Does that change the equation?
I'd still go the Golden since you get 3 great verbs in one. @@BobbyGeneric145
Think I saw lupin floating evermore along in one of orions heavenly golden clouds.. 😺
For Evermore!
excellent choice of font
🗡️
This is how I want to hear pedals, lots of dirt/crunch. Too many only clean demos out there. Nice to get both.
Superb.
Nice product swapping while keeping eyes fixed on camera!
Only took half a dozen tries 😅
