so let me just start with the timestamps 👀

Canon or not, i had to edit these two’s epic journey together from seasons 2 to 6
this is just part one of their story
i actually didn’t want to split supercorp’s ‘their story’ edit into two parts but there’s just so much scenes/storylines between these two which ultimately resulted in this edit being longer than planned (but hey i ain’t complaining here)
wanted to publish this before the finale airs so we can reminisce supercorp s2-4
it’s been a rough couple of days for the fandom. With certain tweets from reviewers who caught an early screening of the SG finale, lots of fan seemed to have lost hope on them being canon, and then going back to clowning again the next hour 😂
Frankly I’m going back and forth between being a negativecorp and a positivecorp too but oh well 🤡
Even if our ship doesn’t sail in the end, supercorp will forever and always be endgame/canon in my heart ❤️
Besides, I’m certain that tons of ao3 writers will do a fix of the finale for us (& we can forget whatever horrible finale the cw gave us instead) 😘
Pretty sure we’re not gonna get the ending we deserve after fighting for these two for so long bc of cough homophobia cough shit showrunners *cough*. Getting a Korrasami ending would probably be the bare minimum but you know what i’ll take what i can get if it means they’re endgame (yes i’m that desperate)
ngl the bar for the finale is set pretty low rn but knowing cwsg, they’ll probably disappoint us more than we thought they could (for me personally anyway) : D
It’s been a hella memorable journey clowning with y’all. Thanks to the fandom for all the fics, arts, edits and etc 🥺💓
It’s not the end yet, a tiny part of me still thinks that our clowning will not be in vain. I mean look at Lexa, clexa clownkru clowned for an entire season hoping that she would come back and SHE DID in the finale of The 100. The SC fandom has been clowning for years, surely we would get some kind of closure?
Can’t believe they’re bringing 3 rats back for the finale. I mean i get why baldy is back but hot dog man & mr homophobic? just why 😩 they better not take up much screentime 😔 AND ALSOOOO BRAINY BETTER STAY IN THE PRESENT & not go back to the future with Manhell
istg the showrunners seem to not want their characters to have a happy ending 😖 THEY’VE SUFFERED ENOUGH ALREADY AND SO HAVE WE 😤
Guess we will find out next week if Supercorp is the greatest queerbait in history OR the longest and most epic slow-burn in history 🤡 (this became my favorite emoji bc of the show)

What that demonstrates clearly to me is that the showrunners did not have the talent or the willingness to write a convincing straight relationship despite the obvious mutual attraction between Melissa and her then-future husband. However, I do agree that Katie MacGrath smokes Chris Wood's acting ability. And thus I would still pick SuperCorp.
@@nicholaslin1630 Well, I think we all know the talent that the showrunners had. About the willingness, I guess was there, but they knew Supercorp was HUGE among the SG fans. It could´ve be counterproductive for them to downgrade Lena to a simple "friend". McGrath was a powerful presence to the show, in my opinion. They should´ve try to write a good, convincing straight relationship for por Kara, though.
Regardless of how you see their relationship, there's absolutely no doubt that what they have is really fucking special. I love them🤚😭

It really does I didn't notice Lena had an accent until I was able to listen them speak for an hour straight and I love that the accent comes out when they do scenes together it adds more to the chemistry

No matter how you look at the storyline between Kara and Lena. There is an unmistakable bond between them. A friendship that's deeper than some people believe even exist. It's very apparent to me that there is severe tension beneath their relationship. At the end of series they cut out the kiss scene but we all know what happened. Didn't even need to be shown to understand what was going to happen next. Great job putting this compilation together. That goes for pt 2 as well.

I don’t know how long this took exactly but i started working on it around September (this includes downloading episodes to cut the scenes from) i did take breaks in between of course since my exams were coming up lol. The actual editing process though, i don’t know how long that took

Not making these two endgame just really solidified the destruction and downfall of the CW but also the downfall of the careers of Jessica queller and Robert rovner

Agree to disagree. Alex is the MCs sister and is extremely prevalent in the show and she is lesbian. Whist in hindsight I do concur with the idea of them being a couple, I think it probably would’ve oversaturated their lgbtq+ inclusion and probably would’ve ended up feeling like over representation (yes that is a thing and it can be seen in some media nowadays).
Shows like Arcane do a perfect job at having the MC be lesbian, but they don’t make the majority of relationships that way (in fact there is only one hetero and one homo relationship worked on).
I think the show with the perfect amount of representation is “The Dragon Prince”. One of the biggest side characters (MCs aunt) is lesbian but that only adds to the character. There is also the two queens who sacrifice themselves. Lastly there is Terry who is trans, they don’t push him being trans to the point where it’s forced but as long as you listen to some dialogue where he essentially says he is, it is clear.
All in all, if they wanted to make Lina x Kara a thing then Alex should’ve probably been straight as to not make it too on the nose.

And her 1st puppy love relationship with Mon-El aka Jackass, Kara own words. And everyone could tell and see it. From Alex to how Kara protecting Lena. Words and actions and looks to how they are with each other says a lot. They should of had their happily ever after to being a true couple and having a double wedding with Alex and Kelly. Of all what they been tho they should have made it made official since knew everything about each other and had know more secrets from each other.
