Eileen thank you for helping me remain sane through menopause with these tutorials. As u said doctors don't take us seriously when we talk about our symptoms. I suddenly started having breathing trouble.. struggle to get air..it goes with a few deep breaths, but comes back just as soon. Doc just dismissed it.
It's a allergy problem

I had no idea this was a part of menopause smh I’m having this issue as well my nose and my mouth as well
Hello Eileen, I was dx with asthma last summer after having uncontrollable coughing fits that would exhaust me. Red clover tea seems to help as well as Nettle & peppermint. My nurse I see for menopause doesn't believe it because she has never heard of it, but the MD I saw said she is seeing this more and more. Thank you for this confirmation.
I am still looking for sea buckthorn oil here in the US.
Just a little note: covering my mouth with a light scarf even in the spring due to winds, helps keep the cough from triggering. The cold in the grocery can trigger it, and I have learned to breathe through my nose and be very mindful of the cough trying to happen taking slow deep breaths, sort of mind of matter if you will. This keeps the irritation down from allowing a cough to escape. Then a warm cup of tea or bone broth is lovely when I get home. Fatigue brings it on too, so a bit of slowing down and taking care of myself is helping. Thank you again for this video (a few years later :-)
Hi
Thanks for all these helpful tips, interesting that your MD is seeing more cases, same here in the UK! Hope you find the oil soon, have you tried Amazon US?

Thank you for the video, I am only 40 but had thyroid cancer which messes up my hormone functions, so many exams to check eye soreness, itchiness, breathing problems like asthma (which I never had) and insomnia, guess what I think I am having early symptoms. I will go to check with the gynecologist just to make sure.
Hi Shirley
Do let me know how you get on.
OMG so I'm crazy HUH thank you!!
I am 54 years and i have been having breathing issue for about 16 months now. I do not have a period anymore. I do have have hot flushes especially in the night. I do not smoke or drink alchol also i only drink only decaf tea and lots of water. I have seen a heart and a lung specialist and they could not find anything in all of my tests. I read about the UK study and i can relate to the women who did the study. If anyboby have information that can help me please do so. Thanks
Hi Zabina
Check out the supplement Sea Buckthorn which is known to help lung issues, you can find research here www.omega7.co.uk

@@AvogelCoUk thank you so much.
It's like clockwork. 3 days before my period, My lungs pop and crack. My chest is tight. My energy drops and I'm just standing there weezing and gasping for breath. My co workers are like...are you going to die? And then the next day I'm fine. Chipper and full of energy! Hormones are weird.
That's very interesting, I have not heard of this happening every month but you still may find the Sea Buckthorn Oil helpful.

Good Day Ms Eileen can you explain about a dry cough that come and goes during menopause. Has anyone ever experience dry cough during menopause.
Hi
If the mucus membranes of the throat start to be affected by falling oestrogen, this could make them more vulnerable to irritation and as a result a cough can develop. You may find the Sea Buckthorn Oil can help with this. However, it is still important to get any cough which has lasted more than a few weeks, checked out by your doctor just to eliminate any other health issues.

Anxiety menopose is too related shymptoms too hard to separate the illness., and drugs
I am 45 and perimenopausal. I also have had asthma for decades, albeit mildly and mostly during pollen season. During the course of the past year, I've noticed increased frequency of what I would describe as ' gulping for air'. It actually feels quite different from a typical episode of asthma, which creates a tightness where I feel like I can't move air into my lungs at all. The gulping is more like an insatiable desire to keep sucking air in beyond capacity, until my ribs hurt from expanding to the maximum.
I'm experiencing this gulping multiple times a day and my level of activity seems to be irrelevant. My standard asthma meds/inhaler make no difference, either.
So what is the special ingredient in sea buckthorn oil? Is it a vitamin or lipid that supposedly helps keep the lungs moist? Any allergic potential for an atopic type like me if I'd like to try it?
Hi Kel
Sea Buckthorn Oil (it’s a capsule or you can get pure oil to take) is known to help promote mucus membrane regeneration, provides essential nutrients for proper functioning and renewal of mucus membranes and it is also anti-inflammatory. Please see www.omega7.co.uk for further info on the Sea Buckthorn. However, it is a good idea to get this checked out by your doctor as well, if you haven’t already done so just in case it is not related to the hormones.
I’m having savre breathing problems . No doctor can help me
Hi Gigi
I do hope the tips and advice here are helpful for you.

Hi Eileen, is it normal to wheeze during menopause? Especially at night? Not ill just annoying wheezing.😞🙂
Hi Glenda
Yes, this can happen. Maybe try the Sea Buckthorn Oil capsules and have a small shot glass of warm water just before bed. However, do get this checked by your doctor as well, just in case it's not related to the menopause!
Pineapple is good for lungs. I eat it a lot
My mom age is 53 still she is getting periods, and now a days she is getting short ness of breath
Hi Manisha
Shortness of breath can be caused by a number of reasons so it's really important that your mom gets this checked by her doctor for a proper diagnosis first
