I've learned more in the last two weeks of Abbeville Institute YT lectures about my beloved Southern birthright than I ever learned in school or conversation. Thank ya'll so very much for laboring! I'm inspired to learn and share as much as I possibly can going forward.❤
I believe the Bible is the word of God and its timeless truths will always remain because God has told us that the gates of hell will never prevail against the kingdom of God. The law of Moses was given before the era of the Greek classics and it is the moral standard which the Greeks rejected. As much worldly wisdom as the Greek mind developed it was idolatrous and rejected Yahweh, The great “I am.” While this lecture represents a sad chapter and illustrates the North’s debasement of a culture superior to its own my hope is that the word of God would be spread and become the basis of our civilization. Kibler suggests that the term Reconstruction may have been used because Marx used it in an address he wrote in 1864 and published by Horace Greeley implying that the south was to be reconstructed not rebuilt. We see now what reconstruction has produced in the south and in the United States namely a socialist, pagan mentality. Universal education appears to be a term which really means universal indoctrination which has nothing to do with developing the mind and spiritual elements.
