- In this tutorial I will explain how I achieve the proper consistency of Royal Icing for making My Royal Icing Transfer Flowers and Roses!!!
I go into great detail explaining how I make my stiff peak royal icing, how I color my icing, how I bag my icing with couplers and tips AND how I pipe different types of Royal Icing Transfer Flowers.
I move slowly through each step of my process and I’m careful not to use technical terms that might confuse or discourage Beginner Cookie Decorators!
I also share the products I use on a daily basis and I will add the links to those products below!

*** This was my very first time creating a full length tutorial video with audio!!!
Up until this point, I have only made videos for the purpose of creating short form vertical content for Reels and Shorts so I have a lot to learn still.
I’m very motivated and excited to continue learning and improving my videography and editing skills and continue learning more about how to improve my long form video skills as well.
Practice makes Progress and my goal is to continue creating videos like this to practice and improve my Channel for all of you!
I hope you learned something new in this video and I hope you will consider Subscribing if you would like to see more Cookie Decorating Content like this!
Thank you so much for watching!

That tea diffuser trick is AWESOME.... I will defo use this hack the next time I make royal icing. Thank you for the tip!! Love from Canada.
My husband who is artistic gave me good advice when I was trying to make something realistic looking. He said to remember that you aren’t making a (in this case, flower), you are making a representation of a flower. So, it can still be very nice without being 100% realistic.
Omggggggg, I have watched a million videos and then I came across yours. When I tell you, you're the only person that literally explained it to the understanding that a child will get it... THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING YOUR GIFT.., I GOT IT NOW😊😊😊😊
You just keep doing this videos! You talking and showing is invaluable and you talking to us makes you normal just like us instead of some smooth talkin but not informative person!👍 You’re awesome!
Thanks so much! 💓 I’m so glad you feel that way and I really appreciate you so much for saying that! 🥰🥰
Love the tea disifter trick!❤
I recommend getting the all silicone thin spatulas by stir brand, and the parents choice plastic baby bowls at Walmart they come in a 5 pack. They changed the game for me! One bowl full is enough to make a bag of outline and a 12 inch full bag of flood consistency icing, and it DOESNT hurt the hands like bigger or heavier glass bowls. I also use a spray bottle for my water adding, and I have not had a problem with adding too much water hardly once since I started using spray bottle. I am SUPER excited about this sugar contraption you have here though,it has me adding another object to my icing prep station! Thank you! -pandacakescakery
I love your video. I've been trying to make royal icing roses for a while now. My icing consistency was never stiff enough until I watched your video. Thankyou :)
I’m a new subscriber. This video helped me tremendously, please share more flower piping videos. You did great!!
13:24 - I personally really like the authenticity of audio with the recording bc it feels like I’m watching a real class presentation instead of simply quick tutorial.
That’s great feedback! Thank you so much! 🥰🥰
It’s so difficult to talk and decorate a cookie! Especially knowing I’m recording myself 😂 Hopefully it will get better with time 🥰
Those are darn cute!! Pretty and cute at the same time. I just found you when trying to find how to make roses. I’m left handed and it’s always a challenge learning these techniques but I just love your methods and commentary and the fact that it doesn’t have to be perfect! I love it. Thank you and you’ve got a new subscriber! 😂❤
Your flowers are so beautiful, I learn a lot from you ❤
They are so pretty and cute
Loving you more with the “real” narrations! Girl, you’re inspiring. Thanks so much for these x
I LOVE your audio!! I'm sitting here laughing out loud because you are so darn relatable and real!!
Because, I am a first time watcher and I think you did a great job explaining.
It looks beautiful
That was awesome! It's nice to hear someone else talk to themselves! I love how genuine you are. Those roses are beautiful indeed. I love Tybee Island!
Thank you so much! 💓💓 I’m so happy that you enjoyed it! Also happy to hear that you love my beautiful little Island!!!! 🥰🥰🥰

I’m stealing your teabag idea!
I like that flower with the little sprinkles on them.
Me too 💓💓
This was fun! Thank you!
I’m so glad! 🤗🤗 Thank you! 💓💓
I love your tutorials, thank you for doing them! What size/number flower tip did you use for the roses?
If we rewatch these videos, does it count towards the 4000 hours. I’m watching them and I’ll rewatch again, then when I’m ready to try I’ll probably rewatch them again. ❤😊
Thank you! Stay safe.
You’re welcome ❤❤
I love it?
What a wonderful tutorial. ❤ Thank you so much! How do you make your base icing? How long can you store the flowers once they are dry?
I shared my Royal Icing Recipe on Facebook but I haven’t shared it here yet! 😊
If you Follow me on FB I can send you a link to it!
I’m so glad you enjoyed the tutorial! 💓
It looks like you started with about a cup of icing? I absolutely love watching you work and learning from you! Awesome tutorial … I think I’ll finally get it?!🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻😬
I would say about a cup! 😊 I’m so happy to hear that! 💓💓
❤ love this❤ thanks for teaching us. You are doing good on your video. Keep up the good work. This newbie will be doing these very soon. Oh where are the bowls from?? Loving you in Texas
You’re so welcome! 🥰 I completely forgot to add the link for the bowls but I just added it! 🎉
Please come back and share a pic with me when you try! 🤗🤗🤗
And Thank you so much for the compliment! ❤❤❤
Hiting the sifter in the bowl will make you have crystal in your icing. 😆
😂😂😂
I can't wait to try this! Can you add a link for that cute little spatula? 😍
I will do my best to find some good spatulas to share! I always need to feel a spatula before I can buy it bc I don’t like ones that are too flimsy on the end! I think I got this one from Home Goods but I will look to see if I can find a link for you! 🥰
@@bekaclaire Thank you so much! I tried to search Amazon. But agree on feeling it!! I have had to return so many things to amazon. We don't have any good stores where I live!! Yours looked nice and sturdy and love the color!!!
@@kimberleyberg387 They are sturdy and I will try to find them on Amazon so I can share them with you! 💓
@@bekaclaire Thank you!!!!
Why don't you sift all your icing before?? Also is your royal icing pure or does it have additive like tapioca?? Also, stop being so hard on yourself, you are really great and actually love your accent!!
I do but I live in the south where it’s very humid so it clumps back up in no time!
I only add what I share in my recipe 😊
Thanks for your kindness and encouragement 💓💓💓
Beka can you include your small bowl information ❤ PS - great information
Oh goodness! I completely forgot to add the link for the bowls! 😢 Thanks so much for reminding me! I just added it for you! 🥰🥰
@@bekaclaire Thank You Sweet Lady !!! 😘
@@galeoliver7461 You’re so welcome! 💓
What is the tool you used? Nail file?
I have those bags and burst them every time with thinner icing. Is there a secret to using them ?
Did you order them from Temu? I’m hearing a lot of complaints about those but the ones I order from Amazon never give me a problem. I’ve only had 3 burst in almost 8 years and it was bc my icing was too thick 😬
You chunked it off? Cool 😂
What❓❓❓
@@bekaclaire I am from the North. I was really just being silly. We don’t say “chunked” very often. 🙄🍻
@@georgegalian6414 I don’t remember saying that in this video ?
I think she said crusties if we’re referring to the same thing.
@@nicoleteeters7002 😂😂😂 George is a friend of mine who LOVES to pick on me about my accent!
I use the word “chunk” in a funny way and he thought I said that in the video but I didn’t 😂
You’re so dang cute
Awww💕 Thank you!
