Then got into my junior year of high school where my family transferred to another location and I lost interest in running. Only because the track team in that high school wasn't a track team at all; but more like a party after school type deal or just a way to not go home. My fastest mile ever was 5 minutes 14 seconds as a sophomore in high school. But I enjoyed long distant running more. Ran with my school in a cross country run for 2 years.
