Could you do a triple jump video please. Also could you also do a video on Nick Symmonds Too, where you talk about what is a good time/distance for each event for your age. Thank you 😁
you recover fast when you train regularly. Most couch potatoes could not run hard for a lap, they would mentally break OR they would run well below their potential because they don't even want to go near the feeling of anxiety you get when you know you are facing something that's going to hurt if you put your heart in. Start easy, run 1 mile a day as slow as you want, and let your heart want more without rushing it and 100pct you can do it
@@M1nistersBlackVeil I jog everyday and that's good to start from, but that's only a good start. The people who came to that event and then ran the 4*400 train. They don't "workout", "stay fit" or whatever, they actually train track and field. If you train track and field you can recover from y our 5k in 20 to 30 mn I would say. When I started training with a coach I was really fit, training Muay Thai on a regular basis and skipping rope regularly as well...but training 400m is hard, at least the way my coach trains is hard. Let me illustrate it for your: in the beginning I had such a hard time to recover between each say 450m that by the second set I could hardly walk straight, and truly believed that I would drawn if I face planted into the puddle on the track. I can not believe that I can do fine what I could hardly survive then. Of course a lot of that is pacing and posture. Running balls out would kill anybody, and training teaches you that: to pace. Seeing how healthy your lifestyle is I am confident that within 6 months of track and field training (in a club of course) you would be able to do the 5k followed by a 400. The people who are coming to Nick's events are not playing around don't be fooled, they are fighters
I remember my freshman year of high school I would always come in last during races/time trials. Really warms my heart watching this video and seeing how much respect everyone has for each other regardless of skill/speed/age/etc. You don't have to be a world-class athlete or a 4-minute miler to enjoy the beauty of this sport. Always enjoy watching these community running videos. Props to the guy who ran barefoot!
Joey from Kent WA here, thanks again for the wonderful event. Probably ran a couple minutes slower than planned (pizza was a questionable pre race meal) but had a great time. Really awesome you took the time to meet everyone! See you all next time! Thank you Nick, Tiana, Ryan, and everyone else!
Yoooo there’s me pulling a suicided death pace!😂 Thanks for putting this event together it was a awesome experience for me and my best buds!!🙏😁 It was a honor that I got to meet you my man your the most energetic and cool person I’ve met!!👌🏽 keep being the awesome guy you are! Ok so you did the 5k on the track this spring, but I know you’re a huge advocate for cross country. How about a Nick Symmonds XC classic in the fall? Do a middle school distance 2-mile one week, a high school distance 5k the next. It could be a rust buster in August or a championship in early November. What do you think?
I used to love the 5K when I was in high school. My average time was 17:30, which was considered great where I live (Canada), and I often finished in the top 10 at track meets. However, in my home country where I grew up (Ethiopia), 17:30 at a high-school track meet gets you in about 30th-40th, middle of the pack! You can see up to 15 people finish sub 16.
Loved this whole series, your energy is amazing Nick! This and the mile were my favorite effects to watch!!!! Love your Olympian career and you're an amazing UA-cam content creator! Such an impact in this world.
honestly mad respect to everyone who did this being on a track I complain about doing a 2 mile on a track (Heck untill my softmore year i even tried to avoid the mile) especially that barefoot people iv ran with 1 shoe in middle school during cross races but running bare foot 5k on top of it being a track from the pain it self and the boredom insane.
Really really marvelous! I luv your videos so much and the only one which disappoints me is that i hv to wait for one whole week to wait for your videos!damn i luv this channel
I’m so glad I could come out and run this event it was very hype what’s not very hype is that you cut the 4x400 off until next place. REPRESENT cinnamon gang for second place.
When there are a lot of people with very different speeds and you have to do multiple laps, how people keep track of every single runner? Do they depend on people’s honesty or there are multiple people outside keeping track for every single runner?
Could you do a triple jump video please. Also could you also do a video on Nick Symmonds Too, where you talk about what is a good time/distance for each event for your age. Thank you 😁

I am from Europe and next year that 800m is mine.
