Nice review, I used my SM2 Pro clone for my Bosch EDC17 35d, what would be a good for using to read/flash the TCU on these ?
You can use same programmer for TCU.

Yes fc200 need update fee
It's 200usd per year. To be honest this kind of products without a sub fee is scary because the manufacturer sooner or later will dump the product to get sales

So far, the only tool that supports many ECU without needing a subscription, or ONLINE, is the kt200. I am leaning heavily to the kt200 because all of these Chinese tools will stop updating eventually and servers shut down. If your tool is an online tool only, you have a useless piece of expensive junk. The kt200 gives us the offline mode so that when they stop supporting the tool, it will still work on everything it could up until that point.

I think you forgot to mention that the offline version must be activated online for it to work. What if you need to install new Windows or another PC? Just as rubbish as the others.

With the consistency of updates from cg fc200, is still worth it to invest in Multiprog? A lot of foruns like mhhauto are saying that multiprog fails a lot, also the checksums are buggy in alot of writes. Being a free update tool, is it trustworthy? Are the developers going to keep working on multiprog without menberships? Asking because Im stuck between the two, fc200 with mp5 adapter costs 715€ and multiprog costs 720€,
If you have FC200 no. If I must buy a new one I will go for VVDI, just my opinion. 👍

They are identical. When the license was stolen from Dfox, two Chinese companies produced these programmers.

This product is only good on mostly Bosch ecu units. Other complicated ECUs like Siemens VDO, Continental, Keihin, Vesteon, etc

Still many clones can do more it a clonen of flex and make same problem, next thing extreme much ecu ate complete not in this tool
To me Clone is something that looks identical hardware and software. For example KT200 and Fox Flash are clones of the original Dfox Master product. both software and hardware look identical. Likewise the Galletto clone is an identical copy and the Kess+ Ktag clones made by the Chinese are identical to the originals, of course the functionality is different.
Now let's all understand if among the first Tuning programmers are made by those from CMD flash, does that mean that all other companies like Alientech, Dimsport, Magicmotor, Galletto are clones of this CMD company? .
Or I ask you another question Flex, Diamond, Autoflasher and Autotuner which is the original and which are the clones. Just because a product has its own software and appearance doesn't mean it's a clone. Even Mercedes that used Renault engines didn't call itself a Renault clone.
I disassembled both programmers and on the hardware side they have nothing to do with each other. Pcmtuner is identical to SM2 pro, that means clone when someone stole someone else's work.
CG may have taken inspiration from other programmers but managed to produce their own software and hardware, which to me is not called Clone because it looks and works differently.
@@YOYODiagnostic you ask cgdi about to add special ecu or help to recover ecu, they can't helps you. Because they not developer, they get Protokoll copy from others
I have tested pcr2.1 vag ! Read ok but when I want to whrite it will block at 70% doesn’t support ecu unlock , I finished the job with pcmflash ! I have whrite to support but they didn’t know that pcr2.1 need unlock to be able to whrite

The worst thing about this machine is that it can't unlock the ECUs that are locked it's only good for clones

@@waldemarfechtel1644 Try deleting ADblue on an edc17C60 from the PSA group with just that machine without using any other equipment. Can't do it!
