I've been to HK Disneyland Resort multiple times, but having ALLEARS team there reviewing it is breath of fresh air, definitely appreciate their take on the HK Disneyland, teams like ALLEARS and DFB do so much better job at portraying overseas Disney parks than the locals, I love how they are in regard and respectful of the culture when they are reviewing, and I appreciate how they are open to try different food options in the park, hope they could visit Asian parks more often.
"Why did I grow up?" ....fun fact: You don't. We don't. We grow old, not up. You two are such a delight to watch and learn from... and of course to chat with as well! :)
I Wish Adults could get an Experience like The Boutique. I understand the rules about looking like Characters. I'm hoping to get my Son an Experience our next trip.
Just looking at Mickey's travel trunk, I can see the nautical theme. And you probably thought "Those are nice code flags." because it's a language, like Chinese, that you cannot read. The code flags in order are Mike, India, Charlie, Kilo, Echo, Yankee. The first letter is most important. They spell out M-I-C-K-E-Y. I love Imagineers.
Thanks for pointing out the mattress. I lived in China for nearly 3 years and Chinese people sleep on extremely firm mattresses. Most foreigners bought 2+ mattress toppers to make the mattress comfortable enough to sleep on. With this said, most foreign hotels had western style mattresses so I’m surprised that these rooms being owned by Disney and into in such an international city as Hong Kong would not have western mattresses
Wouldn't it be cool if the new Polynesian DVC tower was an Explorer's Lodge with the Adventurer's Club at the top?? Love your vids as usual. So exciting to see you go to Hong Kong!
The nautical flags in Mickeys display spell M-I-C-K-E-Y. Thr written language is Chinese. Cantonese is the spoken dialect. All dialects use the same written language. (Movies have Chinese subtitles, because you might not understand the different dialects.)
@@AllEarsNet some of these stores also sell premade congee in cans. Just ask the staff at the Asian food store to help! Good luck!!! My favorite things to put inside are salted goose egg, peanuts, and pickled cabbage. Some traditional Cantonese restaurants also have it on the menu. Not sure sure if these is a large Cantonese population in Orlando though
If ever go back, can you see if the restaurants use latex gloves?? I really wanna go at some point but i’m super afraid that they might use latex and won’t be able to experience the food 😭
I wish you had shown more of the Hollywood Hotel. It's idea of Art Deco seemed better than the Riviera Resort. This also reminds me of how Disney Parks is losing the art of theming at the WDW resort hotels.
I'm really surprised at how American and not Oriental those hotels are. I realize they are Disney but I think if I were staying there, I'd like a little more of a local vibe.
The hotels in HK are very Westernized because HK is a major international hub. If you go to hotels in Tsim Sha Tsui - Kowloon for example, the standards are higher than the typical American hotels. Some of those hotels have a Chinese decor that you may be after.
2:19 not her literally playing La La Land. i love it
I’ve been enjoying the HK Disneyland videos. Very informative, and a nice change of pace from all the videos on WDW.

I wholeheartedly concur!

The "you don't want to race?" then slowly driving into the curb is hilarious 😂

Has the Hong Kong Food video been released yet? I'm so interested to see what the food options are around the park and in the hotels!

I recommend the mtr if you can manage your luggage, because the Disneyland station is so much fun.
Great video ladies! How exciting!! 😀😃

It's Emma on the Lickety Split!
Also, what did Emma think of Congee? It’s a super traditional Cantonese dish that can be quite good depending on what you put inside it.
Emma loves congee! She got it every chance she could while we were there.
@@AllEarsNet she could make the base at home and go to a local Asian foods store to find the pickles to put inside

@AllEarsNet The Team should do a Challenge at MINI GOLF!!!!
@AllEarsNet I hope team goes to FANTASY SPRINGS when it Opens this Summer
Quincy laughing at the Duffy glasses .. yet wearing her own pair in all the other videos. Duffy convert!
Great job on a whirlwind tour

That is a British plug socket Quincy
yes - we still use UK sockets/plugs. Actually I think it`s Eu standard.
Makes sense. Hong Kong was controlled by the British for about a century ending in the 1990s.
Quincey: there are a lot of leather straps in this hotel which feels very…
Me: 😳
Quincey: explorer
Me: 😅 oh yeah explorer

How was it a 4 hour flight from MCO to LAX? Were you on the Concorde????
Right? It's usually 5 1/2 hrs or longer with a direct flight.
30:36 :D
Oh no its moth woman. 🥴😮🥴😮 😂🤣😂🤣😂
Quincy has to do bed science!

You won`t see anything `Oriental` in Hong Kong. We still have some buildings which are either old style colonial - or local Hong Kong style buildings.
