I really like these videos discussing the resorts. It’s always tough to pick the right resort. The way Quincy talks about her experiences in a professional, but honest perspective really helps. The shifting camera angles and clever editing also helps to keep the viewer engaged.
Thank you for keeping in the Quincyisms. Her randomness is the best part of this useful video. As a person TERRIFIED of gators, I hated that part, but it's important info
That literal rule of thumb, if your outstretched thumb doesn't block the view of the wild animal you're too close, also applies to hazmat incidents such as a leaking tanker truck..
The buses definitely need a little planning--especially at the larger resorts. Our last stay was Old Key West--we learned quickly that the Peninsular station was the one to use--since it's the first stop and the buses arrive largely empty. This is a big resort with 5 stops--so that can make a real difference.
Love this video Quincy and the content is very relevant. I'm so glad you mentioned the transportation/food service point because I just experienced this a week ago. Magic Kingdom was open until midnight Christmas week but Pop Century food court closed at 11. Also, I was in line at 6:45 am for the bus but couldn't get into the food court yet even to fill my refillable mug. While you can't get coffee here, POP century does have a 24 hour drink station for refillable mugs by the Hippie dippie pool bar so I got some vitamin water and coke in my refillable mugs for the trip and wait to get into the parks. Sometimes it runs out of ice but you can fill the mug with ice from the ice machines by your room before headed to the drink station if needed. In addition to planning to eat before leaving a park if open late I have gotten snacks before leaving the parks and put them in tupperware for a late night snack or breakfast. Not good for hot items but cookies or something you can eat cold or room temp. Lastly as far as critters someone below mentioned squirrels in addition to bugs and gators, snakes etc. I saw multiple squirrels going through peoples strollers scavenging so use those popcorn bucket lids and tupperware and try to seal and pack leftovers well. Birds and even rabbits have tried to steal my food as well. Great job as always All ears!!!
Wish I'd seen this before our last trip. We stayed at the Boardwalk Inn and the no room service was really disappointing considering how pricey the rooms are. After walking around all day, sometimes you just want to lay down in your room and have food delivered to you.
Which is the best resort/room combo to minimize walking? I'm leaning towards the Art of Animation Finding Nemo room. I assume the Polynesian Club and Contemporary Club would also have very short walks (albeit at a high price point).
Large sports groups in hotels - although Disney does not announce when these groups will be present, you can check the calendar at the ESPN sports complex for the dates of events.
I will now be referring to the time my sister & I got lost at Saratoga springs trying while to find the walking path to Disney Springs, as my Quincy moment. 😂 We gave up and took the boat!
My husband and I figured we'd have to have a healthy concern for alligators and snakes, but what we didn't realize would be an issue at Disney...the squirrels! The audacity. The AUD👏AC👏IT👏Y👏 I am not exaggerating when I say the ones at Contemporary made my 3 & 5 year old daughters scream and run away. I've had to work with them since our trip last February to convince them not all squirrels are to be feared 😂😭
I have to agree with you on the squirrels. In Magic Kingdom a squirrel jumped onto our picnic table multiple times trying to get at my breakfast sandwich. Very persistent. I was more persistent though. I kept my sandwich.
Good info. While not a hotel the Fort also has internal loops and you might be staying in a cabin while they are still available. And talk about long walks, some of the deluxe internal hallways seem longer than the resorts with bus loops. I'm looking at you BW with your REDRUM hallways and YC. I have seriously gotten lost inside YC. Dolphin can be a bit confusing as well. Am I in the East wing or West wing, how do I get to the bottom floor from whatever wing, is it even possible and where the heck is the pool, I see it why can't I get there?
It’s like you guys can read my mind! I was going back and forth yesterday on the resort to pick for a my solo work trip this year and this video helps immensely. You guys are a wealth of knowledge ❤ Though I’m not picking Saratoga Springs 😂 got lost there once last month in the dark and I don’t trust myself to figure it out this time. I feel you Quincy!
I usually leave a park and make my way to the bus stop before the fireworks begin. I'm not that invested in fireworks and I can still see them at the bus stop. Mary Poppins theming at a resort called the Grand Floridian? This is sloppy theming and I look forward to the day when someone realizes this. Oh wait . . . Brayden of the Mickey Views channel did.
Avoid having delivery drivers come to your room!!!!! This is a safety hazard not just for you but also them and other guests at least there is someone watching at lobby, also id caught they can be banned from Disney
Quincy, I want to marry you. And I can help with tour video color grading, espe with multiple camera angles... Lol... Love your personality, content, and video style. PM if you want any assistance.
I’m getting a whinny complaining feeling from this video! Just get coffee in your room, and grab Joffery’s on the way to the park. Caribbean beach has pizza delivery, and if there is a long line for the buss or Skyliner because you are running late, then spend $6.00 on a Lyft to take you door to door!

Strong suspicions Quincy made this video just so she could recommend boats
Quincy’s senior photo!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Whoever’s idea was that….👏👏👏🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

ALWAYS get the map.
Even if you think you know EVERYTHING about where you are in WDW...ALWAYS get the map.
Hey!!! Wahoo you just saved me money on our next stay thanks!!! Great tips
Funny you mention bees. I got stung by one at Typhoon Lagoon on my birthday last summer.
I hope you continue to create more sit-down videos because I love listening to these while driving 😊.
Yes me too!
I'm glad you mentioned unexpected visitors. I experienced this on my last trip, and it frightened me a bit.
😮

I saw a wild garter snake at Animal Kingdom.
I have also see many a naked person in their rooms because they're changing with the curtains open.

Thank you so much for all the information!

Impressive work in this one
I think there should be videos that are just Quincy rambling, so we can learn more about these spooky bugs.
18:52 The reason why they do daily room checks is because of the mass shooting incident in Las Vegas in 2017.
Quincy- you and your whole team is amazing! By the way I would rather have too much information than too little. ❤❤
Great informational video! I soo wish they would bring back room service.
Quincy staying in the Poly Bungalows, ordering door dash from O'Hana
I love Quincy. She is so hilarious as well as knowledgeable 👍
My family booked through David's DVC at Animal Kingdom for our trip in April
I get it, Quincy!! I'm scared of bees. No allergies, just fear!!!

I got lost at Port Orleans, Riverside. I kept wandering around and everything looked the same, lol

I just stayed at Cornonado Springs and thought they still had room service. I was sadly mistaken (it did save me some money though lol).
Loved the Doofenshmirtz quote! 😂
Quincy you are awesome. ❤❤❤
I have only been to Disney twice, and the second time happened to be when the bear decided to make an appearance in the parks 😂
I'm in a pajama sweatshirt with nightmare before xmas. living my truth too.
The Bees...KNOW. 😳

Where did you get this sweatshirt? My 11 yo son really wants it, and he’s not a big Disney fan
Disney parents for decent coffee UNITE

is that good or not
how to know where your bus stop order is I requested Aruba in Caribbean Beach
As I recall, the buses procedure clockwise around the resort. I think Aruba is the last stop.
@@vincent412l7She said in her video about CBR that the order isn’t always the same and you should ask a cast member which way they’re going today.
I hope Disney will put Microwave in their value resort, and then I'll be good. 🎉
A gaggle... 🤣☠
I'm a simple man
All my hotel needs is a bed, TV and a pool
Question: is there a video that ranks all the Disney resorts? 😂
"I've stayed in every Disney world hotel and I'm ranking them all", about seven months ago
