I love it American owners get so excited over the service book. I've seen an E39 M5 for sale over here with 21 BMW service stamps in the book. European owners, and more specifically English ones go mad for stamps in the book.

Nice video. What was it like driving across the country? Tiring? Exciting?
Both, haha. We had a moving average in the 80s for much of the trip, and sometimes we hit the 90s. The worst times were driving straight into the sun, that got old fast. But there were a few stretches where we got to stretch the old girl's legs all the way out. That was exhilarating!
It was a blast! I actually could have kept going.
Tubi sounds sweet, what do you think about just a delete? Too loud or too much drone? I've never heard one with it in person.
Muffler delete sounds awesome- but it's always very loud. These systems allow you to be quiet when just cruising or not driving aggressively, but push the throttle, and it's a clean and tidy beautiful sound. The delete is cheap, but I find them to be too sloppy and loud all of the time.
Agreed, Mine has a muffler delete. It doesn't drone at speed. Sounds fab.@@E39Source
I have a delete and love it every time I drive it ... these cars are very well insulated so at cruising speeds it's almost not noticeable
Why, oh why do you drive it so slow?! It literally hurts me to see you hit open road and not hearing you down-shift and floor it. Maybe it's my frustration speaking due to driving my M5 exclusively in bumper to bumper traffic for the last month...
Haha, well, we're not past the statute of limitations yet... Allegedly, somewhere in Mexico, we may or may not have run into the factory speed limiter. We were allegedly cruising at 90mph+ for many many miles. But filming yourselves breaking multiple laws and committing felony speeds and posting it online is a very bad idea.
@@computiNATEor Trust me, cops don't care :) If it still bothers you, don't film the speedometer (or blur it), problem solved :)
