- After not being moved for over a year we got my buddies 1964 Flxible New Look started and moved around a bit
Info on bus:
One of twenty five owned by the Atomic Energy Commision, 23 were literally buried, my buddy ended up with this one and last he checked there was one California, making only two of this order left.
That is cool! I recognized the color scheme right away. The Idaho National Laboratory Shuttle BUS! They also commissioned some GM T8H-5305 New Look Fishbowls. We bought two of them for $750 each at a Gov. auction years and years ago. They had large diesel fired Webasto pre-heaters, and PTO driven Trane AC units installed. 4-speed spicer. Uncle Sam spent a fortune outfitting them all. They are still out here in Oregon somewhere.
Armstrong Steering: When driving a
bus was a man's job!
I'm a tram and I approve this video!!!!
Dude. Go be stupid somewhere else
Must be a little warm that day plus so close to an old school diesel engine !
My friend used to own the unit in CA. :)
Guys I hate to inform everyone that the owner passed away in March. I have no idea what's happened to this bus.

Nice
Looks a bit like a 4106 from the back...
What's up with that Ex-Pace Orion I?
Where’s this at? Maybe I can bring 6163 here
How do you get it to shift. Looking at one that has forward , reverse and park but it grinds like a stick and won’t go into gear.
Is that a automatic or manual transmission...
No it's a manual transmission , suburban style 1 door commuter bus.
So I wonder what year Flxible went to a V Drive/Transverse setup on these?????🤔🤔🤔🤔
I think it was always an option on the New Looks. It could be chosen.
