Most especially, I get excited about many other forms of art but try to limit myself, since I know I’ll experience negative effects if I divide up my creativity too much. Also, in addition to working full time, I have chronic illnesses, and managing them is like having a second job. Friendly suggestion- Turn down the volume on your background music because it’s really loud compared to your voice. I can see this tune being distracting even at a lower volume, so a more even + calming tune at a low volume would be ideal.

It's interesting to me that the first thing you mention is limiting ourselves rather than dividing our creativity. When I started exploring what I wanted to do with art earlier this year, I felt like I was shooting arrows in every direction. Since then, I've been pruning off things that don't work for me. I have to keep myself from grieving the loss of what might have been and move forward. Very sorry to hear about your chronic illnesses. I sincerely hope you are able to find a measure of relief. Spirituality and art fill that space for me. Maybe for you too? Regarding the music, I turned the music volume down to 2 or 3% for this video, and I think I turned my voice volume up near 175%. I put music in to lighten the mood, since I think my videos might hit a more serious tone otherwise. Your suggestion to switch the genre is definitely something for me to think about. I never want it to compete or distract from what I have to say. On the other hand, I'm hesitant to go too calm. The tracks on this video are Old School Hip-Hop.
