I also really appreciate the transparency in this video a lot of artists don’t share what they made just say they broke even or made what they estimated.
Thank you! I find these types of videos so useful too, especially for my first time doing Artist Alley I wanted to know what to expect. So I'm hoping this video will help other people in the same way :)
Seeing your first con being super successful made me smile :) I'm very glad that your art is getting the recognition it deserves! Also love the vlog colors and editing style; it's very relaxing to the eyes
Aww the sketchbook idea was SOOOO cute!! Loved it! The table was gorgeous and I'm so happy it went well for it, your really deserve it :) TRUST YOURSELF 💛
Hello, fellow artist here! Later this year I'll be vending at an anime con for the first time. I've been watching videos, preparing for the con, and I find this video very helpful! I admire your transparency, I feel like you covered many topics that many artists don't cover such as exact earnings, profits, and other details. I'll make sure to watch more videos from you in the future. Thanks!
🍅 congrats on your first artist alley! I’m so nervous about drawing and producing my own art… I love your honesty. I will probably cry when I make my first sale. Will def be vlogging that experience lol. I saw ummheather’s idea of the draw in my sketchbook and loved it too. I loved that you showed the doodles they did. Keep going! You got this! 💛
thank you SO much for sharing your experience!!! im doing my first ozcc in a little over a month and i do not feel prepared in so many ways - so seeing it laid out like this, and at a con i'm actually familiar with and planning specifically for, it's super comforting and helps ease so many of my worries!! im so glad to hear yours has gone well, ive seen your name around before and i do adore the work that you do, so it's wonderful to see you thrive in this video!! i hope 10 months on you're doing even better and planning even bigger things!!
So fun to watch this! I’m glad your first one went well, and I love the draw in my sketchbook ideas Definitely has me excited for my first artist alley in the next month!
I loved this vid!!!🍅🍅🍅 I definitely need to do AA in oz someday!! They get so much more people going to them compared to nz! Im so glad you did well! 💖✨️
Congrats on all your hard work paying off so much at your first con, your setup is amazing for a first time and your art is so cute! 💖 Got recommended this video by the algorithm and was pleasantly surprised to hear another Aussie! I'm in QLD and have only done Brissie cons so far but have heard the same about Sydney and Melbourne cons so hopefully we can both table there in future and I'll come say hi 🍅
Your art is amazing! and your table/display looked so lovely and cosy! I'm not surprised your did so well! Thank you for sharing your thoughts and talking about the money you made at your first artist alley! It was such a fun and educational vlog to watch! 😊 (edit cause i forgot my tomato emoji heheh)🍅
🍅 What a beautiful video, I am also a small atist and I just signed up for my first art convention next year. I am super nervouse and also hope to sell at least what I paid for the table in money. This video was so Helpfull, much much love to you.
thank you so much for making this video, it was so helpful !! I'm applying to do my first artist alley this month that will be in April, do you have recommendations on how much stock to bring for an alley with approximately 1000+ attendees?
You're so welcome! Honestly just as much as you think you'll need, and then double or triple it lol. It also depends on what you make. Stickers are my main seller so I try to bring at least 10 of each and at least 20 of my more popular designs. For keychains it's the same. Prints aren't as popular of a seller for me so I might only bring 5 of each print.
thank you for watching my first artist alley vlog! it was a super fun experience, i hope you enjoy watching, pls like + sub if you did! :')
Done and done, keep up the incredible work!!
