I test road one of these yesterday and it was surprisingly fun to ride and handles much better than i expected. It does feel a bit like cheating but its cheaper than the brompton, rides at about 20 mph, and can be ridden by anyone in the household. Here in the states the k one will average about 25 mph on th flat which is nice since it isnt just doing the work for you but augmenting what youre doing. Fold is nice for travel, intercity train, trunk, etc. Brompton always wins on fold size
For the money and compared to similar models I was very impressed with it. 👍
Hi Andy, nice looking machine. Thought you were going to cut through the power cable (with the seat post) when you were folding the bike! Is it as vulnerable as it looks?
Quite like Dahons, bought a 'presto lite' version years ago..... only 9kg which was good for a folder. Used it in town a lot but very twitchy.

Nice one Andy, a commuting bicycle could well be the way to go for people if the price of of parking and ULEZ zones continue to become the daily norm, not to mention the cost of fuel
Absolutely, it’s never replacing my road bike. In Manchester it’s definitely faster cheaper and greener commuting in this than in a car or public transport 👍

It was and I’ve been pleasantly surprised. It’s never replacing my road bike. But if it’s encouraging others in the household to try two wheels it’s definitely a result

Another lever up, I’ve not rode one yet.
@@BikeItUK If you look at the increase of belt drive systems on the market a 30 % upturn over the last five years across mountain, touring, electric. Obviously if it carries on like this chain will be limited going forward,
Electric mopeds for lazy people it certainly isn’t cycling
I’m sticking to my road bikes for now. I honestly believe they have there place and are definitely better than using a car any day. Thanks for watching
