im actually scared for 2.2 some of the new features might drop levels down a demon rating and new top 1’s will not be hard to come by. especially going sideways and all of the other movement options. cant forget the new game mode
Everybody keeps saying this but I don't think its true. These features will take some getting used to like they did for previous updates like dash orbs or move triggers but once we get used to them they will feel normal. Top demons aren't going to suddenly get harder and released more often just because there are new features, as people still need to verify them. Plus, creators will only make levels as hard as they would otherwise- we already have the versatility to make levels as easy or hard as we want to and that wont change in 2.2
I’m also a little but I think that if literally almost everyone thinks with this mindset then that means they’re obviously not going to abuse the features and the harder demons will probably use the less inconsistent gameplay features less such as the rotating screen trigger and the more consistent gameplay features more such as the timewarp trigger. The start of the update will be hell though.
While never shown, I remember someone asking Robtop if he could make an instant collision trigger and he said yes. An instant collision trigger would be able to test if 2 collision IDs are touching or not touching each other and activate a group according to that. Before anyone says this is a game-changer for mini-game creators, this can be done fairly easily in 2.1 using 2 collision triggers, 2 pickup triggers, and tested using an instant count. It is more of a convenience feature if anything.

Yo i would love to see a possibility to add folders on your profile for your levels, so people can see them online. Like, folder for your own map pack, your own main levels, and stuff.

I think the TimeWarp trigger has been update to were instead of it being 50% of the normal speed, I think it’s 10% of the normal speed I’m not sure though
options should work as it would force your player into specific options needed for the level but then when you quit it or beat it, it would go back to normal

The gradient trigger is very very underrated. It's going to make levels SO MUCH MORE beautiful.
